Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

It's common for hacked clients to crash...

Waiting on CraftBukkit.

A slight optimization I would suggest is to use a boolean[256] as a lookup table (instead of an int array) so that you don't iterate through an array to find passable blocks.

Sure, as long as it's done in a way that doesn't touch non-falling blocks and doesn't cause lag.

ya you can niknox, in the bukkit.yml there is an orebfuscator option near the bottom, you can disable it, also i heard orebfuscator disables it automatically if it is loaded
lishd:
do you have any interest in somehow supporting other falling blocks?

Posted Mar 11, 2013I have Spigot on my Server. Spigot already has an Orebfuscator but it doesn't work. Can I disable it and use this Orebfuscator here instead? Or might there occur problems?
Oh, I recognized that bergerkiller also has asked about this. Could you answer it please? ;)

Oh so that's why... Orebfuscator only checks for sand/gravel falling...
@Edpon
Hmm it happens when server is under full load sometimes. Should happen rarely though.
@Intangir
The thing is, all blocks go into physics check even if they don't fall or anything. The check was to prevent block updates to everything, which lags WorldEdit terribly when you try to change something big.

Posted Mar 11, 2013Lol ClearLagg, getting funnier each day.
PEOPLE
The correct pronounciation of 'delay' or 'slowness' is 'LAG', not 'LAGG'. I made up the word 'lagg'. You have no idea how hilarious it is to see people use Lagg as an actual word or let alone a plugin name. This joke has been going on for a while now, but I think it is getting out of hand. I think it's time to end this joke and put it in a forum post...
@lishid I just looked through Spigot, and are you aware that md_5 included an 'Orebfuscator' in there too? Reason I ask is that I am not sure whether an 'Orebfuscator' is an actual thing, or actually your plugin name. It is a combination of Ore and Obfuscator, and he using the word Orebfuscator makes me suspect he cloned your plugin and put it in there without due credit. If you weren't aware of this yet, please check up on it. (it's an 'all rights reserved' license)

Posted Mar 11, 2013@lishid:
can you make a way to process physics events on more block types maybe?
the extra hard mode mod:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/fun-hard-mode/
adds new physics to dirt and cobblestone somehow, it makes them fall when nothing is under them, just like sand or gravel
i notice in your block listener it bails out if its not specifically only sand or gravel
also can you push to github again?
rather than configuration i could just hardcode it for now

Posted Mar 10, 2013My players are reporting that nothing generates around them when they log in. It takes a server reboot to solve the problem. Has this happened before? Or is there a quick fix that i'm totally overlooking?

Posted Mar 9, 2013this mod handles dirt and cobble stone differently, they fall, like sand or gravel
my config is this:
http://pastebin.com/BV0fiqC3
it might fire off a physics type event?
also it changes blocks from stone to cobble before the cobble falls, not sure if theres a way to update on that
let me know if you have any suggestions
if you want to test it out, the server is mc.intangir.org, then join challenge server
try and get a creeper to explode under ground ;) or ill give you some tnt if im on

All those updates should be handled by orebfuscator by sending the appropriate block updates normally... Can I see your config?

Posted Mar 9, 2013I'm using orebfuscator and extra hard mode at the same time
whenever there are cave ins, or explosions and blocks fall away it exposes orebfuscated blocks (which looks like tons of great ores and randomness)
are there any settings i can use to work around this?
