Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Posted Mar 5, 2013@lishid All right then. I fixed compatibility with Orebfuscator now. The problem lies in the fact that you used/obtained the 'packet ID' and didn't bother checking the actual class type...it resulted in some missing field stuff because I wrap my packet in another packet to bypass detection...which failed. I had to include a dirty hack so it would only change the packet ID RIGHT before sending.
Appears to work fine, also without ProtocolLib. I do have to let lenis test the actual obfuscation for a bit, I don't have a hacked client ready to test it :) https:github.com/bergerkiller/BKCommonLib/commit/7baae5bb81c3bc59de4bbd9736ee394b3c31ae2f
EDIT
Works :) Orebfuscator support will be back in the next NoLagg version. ProtocolLib is NOT required.

Well, I wrote that only because the NoLagg maintainer asked me to, but good to see you back working on it.

Posted Mar 5, 2013@lishid What is the reason for:
Because this is simply not true: NoLagg doesn't utilize anything from ProtocolLib except the Packet Listener, which is handled by BKCommonLib. You should say that it requires ProtocolLib to function with BKCommonLib instead, because that is where the main logic is. Although I already have a 'blacklist' of plugins that need ProtocolLib running.
I can add Orebfuscator to the known incompatibility list of BKCommonLib if you want. Then people will get a proper message at least. :)
Anyway there were several issues related to the chunk packet being detected, I'll try to get it all working.

They're either hacking or lagging, otherwise this plugin is easy enough to get used to. Ores show up on rare occasions but you see them disappear right away if you don't lag too much. If they don't then there's a lag problem with the player.

Yes it is. It does so to prevent xray on chests to find hidden chests and secret bases. This feature can be disabled by using command "/ofc disable proximity" and then "/ofc clearcache"

Posted Mar 4, 2013Hello, I love the idea of this mod however unfortunately everytime I install this within an hour it causes the server to crash. But when it came up with errors i believe it was having issues throwing up the permissions?
I am using Essentials Group Manager if this helps. I will try to get logs by recreating the crash.

Hey :)
I started my FIRST server a bit ago, and downloaded/placed your mod in, which is lovely btw.
Having some issues though, the major one, being that I cant use the x-ray I installed purely for the purpose of testing it, works for me, all fine and dandy. For some reason, when I ask people to try it, (so i can make SURE that it works.), they for some reason can use their xray all fine, and can use it to get ores.
I haven't messed with the config, or anything, really. I used the command, /ofc clearcache, then /ofc enable world world, then /ofc engine 2.
So, I have no idea. Might as well ask you? :S

Posted Mar 3, 2013@lishid Strangely it wasn't posted much on NoLagg...unless this was a few weeks ago when Lenis was still handling it. I do remember him fixing this a while back.
Anyway I'll take a look at this once I have the time, hopefully tomorrow.

Hmm I haven't checked NoLagg code in a while, busy with midterms and stuff...
Though it seems to have errors. (Likely to be something set to null and past into Orebfuscator, which supposed it wasn't null and tried to use it. These errors were posted by people to both Orebfuscator's comments below and NoLagg's)

Posted Mar 3, 2013@lishid Well I am actually helping out atm to get it back on track, but as I see it chunks is still having issues with Orebfuscator? Like, nothing being obfuscated, or dirty errors?
(I had no issues last time I checked, but it could have changed.)
Also note that you do not have to disable all of the chunks feature - just disabling the buffered sending is enough to get it compatible. This is also stated in the config.yml headers.

Alright, I think it's working fine with the Chunks for NoLagg disabled. Thanks.
