Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:
For all releases of 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x: Version 4.4.3
Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

either make changes to the config while the server is off or use the various /ofc xxx commands to change the config (ex: /ofc engine 2 or /ofc threads 4)
@lishid Thanks for the multi-thread fix in 1.3.4! :-)

Posted Feb 4, 2012How about adding ability to delete cash of current chunk? Something like '/chunk delcash'. We got few chunks with wrong cash data, and reboot doesn't help.

Posted Feb 3, 2012It appears that after all, I had no issues. I just... Logged on with a different ip, and that seemed to work. If you are playing mc on the same computer as the server, do you see ores different than outsiders? I think I solved the problem sort of... Thanks for the help guys.

Just looked over CraftBukkit's code, Nolagg has NO right to use the ChunkLoadEvent to throw an exception to break my code!
EDIT: Btw, the only way to fix it for now is to remove NoLagg's cross-thread checks, but I don't think there's a config for that, so you might have to disable NoLagg until the author fix it.

I need the chunks to be loaded when accessed. In CraftBukkit, the function is provided:
getChunkAt(i, j) should be thread safe, and calls the getOrCreateChunk, which then loads the chunk if it is not loaded.
To sum up, if it is not loaded, it will be automatically loaded or created in thread-safe code, which means NoLagg should not be intercepting and cancel the call, because it should not cause any problems at all.

Posted Feb 3, 2012Well. He says its your plugin.
From the NoLagg thread:
@HighlifeTTU: Go Interesting, as it is more of an Orebfuscator issue here. He accesses the physical chunk using getChunk, while he knows the chunk may not have been loaded, which causes that to happen in the long run. A bit impossible to prevent actually...
Better report this in the orebfuscator thread as well, and tell him to add an 'isChunkLoaded' check before using getTypeId.

NoLagg is screwing you over.
Read here. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/nolagg/pages/synchronized-code-access-nolagg/
Try disable NoLagg's ChunkSending, if that doesn't fix it, then you're stuck with removing NoLagg to make it all work...

Posted Feb 3, 2012Hey, lishid!
Orebfuscator's cache currently seems to leak file descriptors. Or in other words, it will never release the file descriptors for the cached region files it touches since the server startup, which can eventually lead to a full server crash (due to the JVM hitting the fd limit). Can you please look into this?

No chunk corruption here. It's caused by a combination of spout and CraftBukkit (R2 I think).

Ok, I'll see...

Posted Feb 3, 2012@lishid @DaveDee: Go It's a client issue, not a server issue, the server does not lag! It's not caused by caching, nor is it caused by network. It's a client-side graphical lag.
But my client did not lag! Why? Only when I add chest fps downs to 18, but other time (and the same with torches), but when I include only AIR - my fps was not changed (or changes was not noticeable), I played about hour (switching on and of the x-ray, transparent textures.. etc). But client of DaveDee crashing after 30 sec. of playing.
