Orebfuscator
Orebfuscator - Anti X-RAY:

This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

DOWNLOAD
Please read compatibility information before downloading as not all releases work with all versions of CraftBukkit.
Latest version should be on BukkitDev, or as a release on the Github page: https://github.com/lishid/Orebfuscator/releases
Please also download ProtocolLib and install it in the plugins folder.
- Is compatible only with version 4.0.0 or newer.
- For 1.9.4 support, you must use build 277 or newer of Protocollib 4.0
- For 1.10 support, you must use build 293 or newer of Protocollib 4.0
- For 1.11 support, please use latest stable builds of ProtocolLib for 1.11.
- For 1.12 support, please use ProtocolLib 4.3.0 or newer.

Features
- Advanced algorithm that hides ore, chest and and anything you specify in the configuration
- Spout compatible, but optional
- No modifications to CraftBukkit.jar is needed

Usage
Install:
- Copy "orebfuscator-4.4.3.jar" to your plugins folder
- If you're upgrading from Orebfuscator.jar, move the contents of the "Orebfuscator3" folder to the "Orebfuscator4" folder
- Restart your server.

Metrics
- This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that anonymous information of your OS and setup will be collected and sent to mcstats.org

Posted Feb 2, 2012I'm seeing the same thing, but haven't had the time to diagnose anything yet. I can tell you that relogging the client doesn't fix it and a /ofc clearcache doesn't fix it. So far only restarting the server makes the problem go away.

Posted Feb 2, 2012I am still having problems with this not using all the random blocks. After running for a while i noticed ALL chucks were only being obfuscated with gold ore, So i stopped server, deleted the cache files and re launched. After relaunching it was back to normal, but now, only 20-30 minutes later, all the chunks around my spawn are only using mossy and diamond blocks.
I have been running this for a while and I know this is not how it should be working, I can provide screenshots if needed, or of course u can log on and look for yourself.

Posted Feb 2, 2012I took both of your advice and changed the op/admin seeing ore to false, but I can still see ore even if I change my group to something without the permissions to see ore... Thanks for the help so far though, any other suggestions?

DEOP yourself and remove all permissions, you will see the fake ores. Read the FAQ section.

It's a client issue, not a server issue, the server does not lag! It's not caused by caching, nor is it caused by network. It's a client-side graphical lag.

I found a bug in your coding. Your obfuscate function is not multi-thread safe, because you call this function:
Without synchronizing the random blocks. Please add a synchronized(RandomBlocks) { field around it.
In NoLagg it is currently shuffling the list from multiple threads, so multiple threads will shuffle this at a time. Internally this fails, causing it to lose values. (multiple values merge into one while setting them).

But fromgate's client stay playable even with airpockets, so i think the problem is in cash or network, cause he was playing on the same desktop. And my client also got stable 50+ fps for some period of time and start lagging only when server generating new cash.

first of all, DON'T USE R2!!! It will corrupt your world. And you won't see any change if you are op|admin. Use special option in config for this.

Same here, I am running craftbukkit-1.1-R2, when I enable/disable the plugin, nothing happens. All of the ore is still visible. It also made a weird folder called "PluginMetrics" in my /plugin directory. Can someone please explain?
