Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

It's not supposed to go less than 20% free since Orebfuscator insists on garbage collection around that value. You can try running a different garbage collector and see if it helps?
"You can try adding "-XX:+UseParallelGC" OR "-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC" (not both) to the command line of the server startup script if you are experiencing OutOfMemoryException.
This changes how Java free memory and allows memory to be freed more often in some cases."

Posted Aug 13, 2012EVERYONE: NoCheatPlus still has problems. Don't whine about it in here. Nor on their page. Wait until they fix it. :)
@lishid: Is Orebfuscator supposed to cause memory leaks? My server gets laggy after about a day of runtime and I'm forced to restart it. Average TPS gets lower and free memory gets down to like 22% (I check with Lagmem plugin.) I run another server that has pretty much the same plugins except some small ones and Orebfuscator and it doesn't have the problem. The other server usually goes back up to around 80% memory when there's nobody on, but my Orebfuscator server stays at whatever low value it had when the last person left. :/
I know Orebfuscator is supposed to use more memory but I have 4GB allocated and so far a maximum of 16 people on. :P

Do you have InitialRadius at 0? If so, change it to 1 and it's fixed. If not post your config.

Well, anyway, When I enable OFC ALL stone turns into random blocks. Including exposed stone.
When I disable UpdateThread, all stone and ore disapear, causing all players to not see stone.

Images link broken... @SmashboxGaming
A lot of people are experiencing problems with NoCheatPlus, I suggest we wait a while until the bukkit cummunity is calm with that plugin's problems first.

I made an example (untested) which could be used as a technique for permission queries. One would store a collection of the interesting permission names and then before operations get the results for them from the permission manager. It needs to be registered as a listener, and one might want to call removePlayer on world changes. It should be possible to store an instance in a static place.
At GitHub ...
@SmashCraft
I had that issue too, and made an emergency fix plugin (No Void Damage) back then (it teleports and removes players invalid), but it might conflict with normal end use (...). If you are using NoCheatPlus, be sure to use the latest version, though it is not sure that it was/is causing those.

Yes.
@SmashboxGaming
I've heard of this in another case, but I think it's caused by another conflicting plugin. Still waiting to have more info on it...

Posted Aug 13, 2012I am getting "ghost deaths" when Orebfuscator is enabled. After a player logs off it show's that the player has died. This of course is nor really happening because the player is offline. However other plugins are registering it as an actual death because the event is triggered. I installed a plugin to display different messages for different types of deaths and found out that it's always a void death that occurs. Any reason why Orebfuscator would be triggering this?

When Orebfuscator tries to access data from chunks, it tells you that the chunks are stored at wrong locations. Same thing happens when minecraft itself tries to read chunk data. You need to fix your world first.

It's usually caused by CraftBukkit or world editors.

Hehe, if it was querying some set that would be ok probably, however the hasPermission calls can lead to permission plugins filling in some low level caches, which then can lead to causing exceptions in any other running thread including the main thread on their hasPermission calls.
So i should not recommend it.
