Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

I understand, but the TPS drops down and they stay there, even when there's 20 ppl in the server!
I have a resource world that resets every 3 weeks, and it's really a problem =/.
A few versions before it was working right, don't know what happened.
Oh well, i disabled the cache now im getting 15-20 tps.

Weird, it's only supposed to take significant CPU when players teleport or login. Other than that, you can reduce view-distance.
@Robert107
Rebuilding the cache can be a little intensive for a while.
@macbookfan33
It's normal to take some CPU, but
1. it's not supposed to go that much... not sure if your CPU is not capable or
2. It's not supposed to take lot of CPU for long. Usually 20-40 seconds is enough to finish chunk obfuscation and CPU will drop back down. (refer to the CPU graph seen above).

Hey, i'm using 1.4.5 and i'm having some TPS drops when i do /ofc clearcache. When the new cache it's generating the TPS of the server drops to 4 or 5 and when the cache it's generated (no too much new areas got explored) the server it's TPS stable. Also i can see an abnormal memory usage (maybye a leak?).
I'm using CB++ and this it's the plugins lists:
Spout 1110; SimpleCommandSigns 0.6; Vault 1.2.13-b148; PermissionsEx 1.19.1; Multiverse-Core 2.4-b527; Questioner 0.6; MyHome 2.2; NoPortals 0.5.2; iConomy 5.01; HiddenCommandSigns 1.2; Deadbolt 2.1; SpoutWorld 0.32; Modifyworld 1.19; NoCheat 3.5.0; SimpleReserve 0.4.4; Orebfuscator 1.4.5; Jobs 2.8.1; WorldEdit 1121-144c0a9; Towny 0.80.0.0; CreativeGates 1.3.3; CommandBook 2.1; VanishNoPacket 3.8.1; Multiverse-NetherPortals 2.4-b530; DeathControl 1.61; WorldGuard 624-18b5a4e; ChestShop 3.39; TownyChat 0.24
Any ideas?

Yeah, I did that, players were still upset, quoted your wiki and mentioned that we were already above the recommended amount and sitting at 100% cpu usage, put an end to that.
We do have 4 main worlds however, so currently we're only running orebfuscator on a newly created 5th world specifically for mining that the economy is tied to and nothing else. Dropped CPU usage from 100% to 65% average.

Well you got the one part right but my host is in Montreal not Malaysia, though I know I didn't specify. http://iweb.com/hosting-technology/data-centers-and-infrastructure
It's working fine anyway at the moment with 1.4.5 so I am a happy camper. I can see what each person is transferring with the iftop command and it seems to be working out for them at the moment and not lagging so we are good to go. Woohoo!
On a side note, if anyone is interested in reducing lag, another seemingly good way to prevent lag which seems to play nice with Orebfuscator for me is the MaxTPS plugin which can limit mob spawning per spawner and auto limit view distance (apparently doesn't work properly anymore to reduce it automatically) and auto item stacking. Someone who is good at coding should take a look at the MaxTPS plugin. They just released the source for it and they are looking for someone to take it over and it needs an update. But it still helps me out to limit the mobs, just doesn't seem to count them properly. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/maxtps/

Posted May 8, 2012By the way I am running network test, finding software that will monitor and graph just the java process. I will post plugin details and Orebfuscator settings. I love this plugin by the way.
Also a side note the test are being run on an internal network with 1,000 Mpbs. So the test will not have any effects of going through ISP's. Simply from my server to the switch and to my game computer. So the conditions are optimal.
I will use vanilla and spout clients conducting 4 test. With orebfuscator and without on both clients.

OK So how this works is iweb is an autonomous system (AS) AS's group networks together as one entity.
http://www.robtex.com/as/as32613.html#peer
iweb AS connects to 4 other AS's and that’s how they get a connection to the world wide web.
AS# 1:22964 http://www.isptelecom.net/solutions.htm
This does not appear to be a data connection, simply PTSN (Public Switched Telephone Network) The reason they have a AS is because PTSN are converting to be IP based, some ISP data travels on the same network, for ISPTELECOM it does not.
AS# 2:3257 http://www.inteliquent.com/networkmap/index.cfm
This is Iwebs connection to the internet.
Anyways you get the point. If you looks at
http://www.iwebhosting.com.my/ourdatacenter.aspx
"Multi-gigabit connectivity is used to link iWeb's data centers to each other and to connect upstream providers to iWeb's own network ."
They are saying they have multiple, very shady, if it was a lot most people would list it. They also have multple centers, so are these multple gigabit links distributed to the 4 centers? 4 is a number that falls under multple. gigabit or even multiple gigabit connections per data center would mean 1,000-10,000 mpbs somewhere in between that number is your bandwidth for the data center. So if they give you 100mpbs of that, than basically to me they would not have many customers if you take 10Gbps/10,000Mpbs that’s not that much and that means that’s 10 gigabit connections for one data center which I find hard to believe based on their owns statement, this would mean MAYBE each data center could cost 100 minecraft servers. But than they are hosting MANY services, for a lot of people.
http://iweb.com/hosting-technology/data-centers-and-infrastructure
Back to my original OP - the 100Mbps is probably the connection from your server to they’re router. Than your SHARING the 1,000-10,000 Mbps out of their data center. So if you’re in one of the loaded data centers that have less than 5% capacity who knows about your internet.
I would say it’s a good idea that I run network test on Oreobsecuator usage.
