Now with support for CraftBukkit 1.9/1.9.1/1.9.2/1.9.4/1.10/1.11/1.12.x/1.13.x!
This plugin is used to counter X-RAY Client mods.
It modifies data that are sent to clients to hide blocks of your choice, such as Ore, chests, dungeons, etc.
It does not manipulate blocks in the world file, thus is safe to use.
ProximityHider is a feature that hides chests that are far from players.
As of 4.3.3, Proximity Hider has been enhanced to use line-of-sight checks, not just proximity! Upgrade today.

Yeah, it's not as easily seen as on bukkit forums.

Ok, thank you. Unfortunately comments aren't searchable so I cant look for that information without having to pan through pages, upon pages, upon pages of comments.

I have explained it repeatedly in the comments. It's a file access error that does not impact anything. If there's an error, the caching is ignored for that chunk at that occasion.

What exactly does it indicate, telling me an error can be ignored is like Chevy telling me its ok for the AirBag lights to turn on randomly.

Can be safely ignored. Will remove message in future versions.

I keep my unstable builds there. Not the ones you actually want to use unless I ask anyone to test it...

There's problem when a player mines a block under his feet and falls through a fake hole. Takes a while for the client to know that there are blocks there.
EDIT: A lot of people are already complaining that they see fake ores when they mine. What do you think they'll say when they see fake mega-caves when they mine. Also, this is very bad for people who strip mines. They'll mine into the fake cave eventually given that their connection is not perfect.

No, since the air are one or two blocks under the stone they are standing on. Just like the ores that are produced by your plugin the air will only be visible when you see behind the stone blocks, or for with x-ray mods they will not see a single ore since the client thinks it is only air.

Is there a more detailed version of the error? Are you using 1.4.5?
If it's a block-id problem, a fix will be out soon.

Ok, I understand what you mean. There is a problem as I've mentioned before, a technical problem with the nature of how chunks are being loaded. It's a problem that I have no control over and cannot fix without causing major issues elsewhere. I will keep trying bypasses for it though. Thanks for reporting it.

Well I did have that and I'm not really looking for a quick fix. Just trying to provide some info that might be of use in some way to fix the issue completely. You said it was a bug in the plugin and just tell them that and thats what I tell them. But it would be nice if it didn't happen so I'm just trying to help provide extra information to see if it helps in fixing the problem. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe it's something to do with bukkit and nothing to do with this plugin at all.
I guess it makes sense they mine so much ore their eyes would play tricks on them sometimes.

Well, you're just teleporting yourself and maybe a few admins, right? just give yourself the perms to disable ofc for you...

Unfortunately I don't think that works because I have had that disabled for quite awhile and the server has restarted since then a bunch of times. It did seem to lower the amount of complaints but it still happens and obviously something weird is going on when I teleport.

try "/ofc disable cache" and ask everyone to relog.

It's almost as if I am using xray and it shows me random ores which aren't really what they seem. They are exposed to the air. When I hit them they turn back to stone which they actually are.
I don't know if it makes a difference that sometimes maybe I am vanished with VanishNoPacket but I don't know if this is always the case. Especially, players often say they see random ores too which aren't really what they seem.

1.4.5 should still be viable. It contains some fixes for exception errors.
@griepy482
I haven't tested with the newer versions of CB, but recache is a command to clear the cache by setting the hash to 0. It still doesn't help solving the problem about why the chunks aren't considered to be cached...
@Davyhalliday
Might be either a plugin incompatibility or the fact that you're using an unstable CB.
@ryvix
when you say you see a lot of random ores, do you mean exposed to the air? or do you mean some parts of the chunk are not loaded and you see through?
