About
OPPassword is a plugin meant for server admins to maintain a sense of security on their servers. This plugin requires everyone that you try to OP to type in a password. There has recently been a "ForceOP" thing going around and this plugin provides a major protection against such an exploit.
Features
- Asks for a password upon giving someone OP
- Defend against ForceOP attacks!
- Password is definable in the config (The config will generate upon first running the plugin)
Permissions!
- op.give (Permission to send other players OP requests)
- op.changepass (Permission to change the OPPassword)

- /op <player>
- /oppassword <password>
- /opp <password>
- /op changepass <oldpass> <newpass>

Posted Jun 7, 2012does op.give only allows them to use '/op' with password requirement? (or does players/mods need op.give to do /op?)

Posted May 5, 2012I'm shure that there's any working version of "ForceOP". My server was attacked by some stupid hackers and after one minute all the online players were OP or SuperAdmin(the highest rank on my server). I hope this plugin can prevent a next attack.

Posted Apr 19, 2012Just to clear some things up, there is something called "ForceOP". This is not always 100% effective, as you have to get the owner / op of the server to join your private server. Once he tries to connect to your server, he instantly logs into the server you specify (his server) and op's you and logs back out. You can say this is not true or whatever, but there are multiple people out there that can confirm that this has happened to their server. Go check the recent threads on HF if you don't think this is real.

Posted Apr 19, 2012there is no way to get op without a op oping you. unless you have the hacked version of nocheat or something else you cant get op by yourself
