You have to get rid of that permission, but keep the op.give permission for the rank of the people you want to allowed to use /op (name). They won't be able to do /bukkit:op to get opped, but once their opped they can.

Posted Mar 12, 2014This doesn't do anything against the classical forceop methods. Other than that it's simply an password-protected /op. It stores the passwords plaintext btw.

Posted Oct 26, 2013Great this is easy to use! Just what I needed! Took me a while to find out that you have to say op {name} in cmd server tab and then put in the password ingame, but after that, its great!

Posted Oct 2, 2012Are you down with opp?!?!?
Thanks for creating and sharing this plugin!
The plugin works great. No errors on the console during load or usage.
OPPassword 1.1 is running on CraftBukkit 1.3.2-R1.0 and on a Windows 7 PC (64-bit) and Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 (64-bit) with Java 1.7 Update 7 (64-bit)
EDIT: Minor issue with plugin.yml but easily corrected: Version says 1.0 instead of 1.1 and is missing website/dev-url lines:
Thanks,
LHammonds

would it also be possible to do a groupmanager password? (so any commands would be password with groupmanager)? i have hackers that can force them to promote themselves :(

The node 'op.give' allows users with that node to perform the command '/op <player>', giving other players OP.
@shukamu
I can do a custom one for you for that one, if you want. Send me a PM.
