The commands
/name &1newname
Changes your name to newname
Permission: name.change
/rename testplayer &1win &2I&1R &cKEWL
Changes testplayer to win IR KEWL
Permission: name.other.change
/clearname
Resets your name
Permission: name.clear

Posted Jan 22, 2015I dont know if you can do this but when I log out of my server my name goes away ( I did the command to change my name and you know what I mean :P) But if there is a way please help me i wanna keep my name when i log back in, thanks

You could ask them to upgrade it to Java 8

Thanks for the update, I appreciate it. It's the best name changing plugin out there.
However, I'm getting the same error that ric275 did, and I know that the problem must be the java error... The only problem is, that the server is not running from my computer but from a server hosting site. Does that mean that the problem is on their end, and that there's nothing that I can do to fix it?
