Posted Dec 13, 2013That Multiverse-Nether portals worked like a charm! However is there a way to control the other spawns as well? Twilight Forest Underdark And the END? we are still having that issue of them creating new worlds. would it be that the core world is the vanilla spawned world? Perhaps we need to migrate it to a Multiverse world to alleviate the issue?

Posted Dec 13, 2013Hi everyone!
Firstly I love MV, I wouldnt be able to get by on my server without it :) Only recently I've been trying to expand my knowledge and add some value to my server with another new world.
I am having an issue, and I'm not sure if this is suppose to be the case or not. I am trying to import an End dimension and the command I use is:
/mv import worldname end
MV creates a new end world, instead of using the world I copied in.
Bukkit version: 1.7.2 b2938
MV version: v2.5-b666
Here is the output from console: 1:25:42 AM WorldGuard: Loaded configuration for world 'dark_path'
1:25:42 AM WorldGuard: 0 regions loaded for 'dark_path'
1:25:42 AM CONSOLE: [INFO] Preparing spawn area for dark_path, 73%
1:25:42 AM CONSOLE: [INFO] AvatarAcid: Complete!
Any help in getting my End dimension to import would be greatly appreciated.

Posted Dec 12, 2013If I have multiple worlds, how can I server different permissions for different worlds?
also, I'd like to set it to where when a player tps to a world, it puts them to where they were when they last left that particular world.

You are an idiot.
I'm running 2.5-b591 on 4 different 1.7.2 servers without issue.

Posted Dec 12, 2013I'm having an issue and i hope on of you might be able to help me. I currently run a 1.6.4 server and i use multiverse and multiverse portals. We use a nether, twilight forest, and the end. which we generated using the portals from the original world. we then created portals in the spawn to go to them. however every time we make a regular nether portal via the obsidian and flint etc. it creates a new world. is there a way to disable all other world portals other than the ones we have set up using the multiverse portals?

Posted Dec 11, 2013ever since 1.5.2 This hasn't worked the right way for me. The worlds don't stay imported *ever*. Like I have my default world, then the two other worlds I made don't show up and they have to be manually imported every time

Here you go: https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/commit/636b8289f67ba1a2afa7fe8bd27751c5ea6d1033 :-)
@TWSSYesterday
You talk a lot about MV3. Looking at https://github.com/Multiverse/Multiverse-Core/commits/multiverse-3 I can't see anything recent about MV3. The last commit was 2012 in there. Together with the commit from above (today) it doesn't really seem like theres someone working hard on the plugin - not that I would need that, since MV works fine with 1.7.2 here. Just saying ;-)

Posted Dec 10, 2013Will all due respect it would be nice to see help on how to set up a portal in an existing world instead of reading: TODO: Write this. Sorry. I'm a slacker.
In the meantime, if you want to figure them out for yourselves, here's a list of all permissions (as of 2012-03-03):
been trying to get a portal to work for around 3 hours now... Nothing I do is working, and sorry to say any help on these pages is pooo... It's so frustrating trying to "figure" out how things work when we should be able to read and do exactly how it's typed out... I'm kinda new too but have been working with configuring plugins for about 4 months now. All explanations here are so vague Im about ready to find a different plugin.

I don't think either of us would benefit from arguing about this. The plugin has issues that need to be fixed. I am on top of the line, professional hardware and after much testing I have ruled out any other plugins as causing the issues.
I have no personal stake in this. I just would prefer to use a plugin that is updated more than once a year. If the devs don't want to update it, then so be it. I don't program so there is nothing I can do about it.
