MultiInv
What is MultiInv
MultiInv is a plugin that gives players a separate inventory for every different world running on the server. You can share inventories over chosen worlds and some players can be ignored entirely. With this power it is possible to have multiple worlds running on one server, but keeping them totally segregated from one another.
MultiInv can also separate health over certain worlds allowing for total separations of a world on a server.
If MultiInv refuses to work and you can't change inventories, it's because you have the wrong version of the TuxTwoLib or forgot to deny yourself the permission multiinv.exempt!
Update for UUIDs and 1.7.9 (there will be no support for 1.7.8 or below due to game breaking bugs) are here! Download will be available as soon as Bukkit Dev approves it.
MultiInv and MobArena are currently not compatible! Make sure users can only join a mob arena from the same world group!
Starting with MultiInv 3.2.1 we now require the library TuxTwoLib to maintain compatibility across various minecraft versions

Forums/Problems
The forums for this plugin (at the top of the page) are the best place to go if you have any questions that aren't just general comments (such as "I hat you" or "I love you"). There I can see which problems have been replied too and who still needs help.
Using MultiInv with BungeeCord
Since BungeeCord requires servers to be in offline mode it's sometimes hard to acquire a reliable UUID if Spigot/BungeeCord isn't configured correctly. Here are the settings you will need to change:
In the BungeeCord config.yml make sure ip_forward is set to true
On the server in the spigot.yml make sure bungeecord is set to true
By setting these two options BungeeCord will be able to pass the correct UUID to the servers. Please note that if you are sharing inventories across multiple servers that this feature is still in beta and may not always work.
Commands
- /multiinv reload - Reloads config files.
- /multiinv import - Imports flat files into a mysql database.
- /multiinv mvimport - Imports Multiverse-Inventories into MultiInv, with the database that you have selected. (You will need to have the Multiverse-Inventories plugin installed when doing the import, just make sure to remove it afterwards)
- /multiinv miimport - Imports WorldInventories into MultiInv.
- /multiinv mcimport - Import Minecraft player files into MultiInv. (Only useful when you've got existing player data and you are enabling the SaveInventoryOnQuit option)
- /multiinv mcexport - Exports MultiInv player data for the default world into the default world in Minecraft format.
Permissions
- multiinv.reload - Permission to use the reload command
- multiinv.import - Permission to use the import command
- multiinv.mvimport - Permission to use the mvimport command
- multiinv.mcimport - Permission to use the mcimport command
- multiinv.mcexport - Permission to use the mcexport command
- multiinv.exempt - Exempts player from inventory switch (If your inventory is not changing, deny yourself this permission in your permissions manager!!!!)
Configuration
^That's a link up there
Updating from MultiInv 2.x to 3.x
- Delete your old config.yml file in the plugins/MultiInv directory
- Start the server with the new plugin
- Rename the Worlds folder to Groups under the plugins/MultiInv directory.
- Rename shares.yml to groups.yml
- Cut the creativeGroups section out of groups.yml and paste it at the end of config.yml
- Edit the config.yml to your prefrences
- do: /multiinv reload
- If you are moving to the mysql database do: /multiinv import
- You're done, enjoy!

Please note, that while I (Tux2) am maintaining this plugin you must file bug reports under the tickets section. If you're having a problem, try replicating it in the latest version of MultiInv as it could already be fixed! Also, if you want your problem to be addressed please make sure to include the MultiInv version, the TuxTwoLib version, your config.yml and groups.yml files contents as well, (even if it is a comment asking for help) If you do not follow these guidelines your comment may be deleted without warning!

Could you all install the plugin Debug report from here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/debugreport/ and do the command /multiinv report to generate a report in your multiinv plugin folder that you can then PM me the reports please? I did not encounter these bugs in my testing and I'm curious as to why they are occurring. You can use the site http://paste.yu8.me as a secure pastebin and just send me the link in the PM.
EDIT: VERY IMPORTANT! Please make sure to generate the report with the new version (version 3.3.3) of MultiInv!

Lots of random inventory clears in new version, armor changed slots between worlds and swords/tools lost their attack damage. Downgraden best option :? EDIT: Stack problems with the same blocks as well in the newest version.

Posted May 3, 2015Hey everyone! There's a new version of MultiInv available! Version 3.3.3 has been released with important bug fixes and improvements! You can now save Attribute data and banners! With this new version we are only supporting Minecraft version 1.8 and above due to banners not being available below that version. You will also need to update TuxTwoLib to the latest version: b5 as well.

Posted Apr 30, 2015So how stable is this plugin now? Currently running #57 and I haven't noticed any problems personally, but inventory loss is a very big deal. My players want their Creative world back, but it can wait.

Posted Apr 24, 2015i have no idea what is causing this :( any help is greatly appreciated.
i am running this on 1.8.3 R2, worldedit 6, plotsquared, multiverse, multiinv(obviously) tuxtwolib. inventories are wiped with every world change. and console is spammed with the above.
the config is default, the groups file only has Sandbox: - SandBox written in under the sample. when i teleport to the sandbox, or out of the sandbox back into 'world' the inventories just get wiped. however, i can teleport to world-nether, or world-the-end and the inventory is as normal. (following to those worlds) thank you for your time.

You know, it might be simpler to ask the developers behind LegendQuest to have an option to reset the health bar back down to 20 for when players leave a world it controls. Integration hooks get messy and that would solve it without us needing to worry about the other plugin.

My idea is make the RPG world and Minecraft default world.
So separate world's Inv,hp,exp is very Important.

Nope, not possible, sorry. It gets really complex and there are bound to be interesting bugs. I've done it once before with a private plugin, however it was really hard to setup and make sure the inventories were properly separated. This isn't something I'd want to do again.
@Arthurdes
@SableDnah
It may be managed in the future, however I'll have to find a way to do it without messing up other plugins. Since he didn't mention what RPG plugin he was using I can't just add compatibility with it.

It looks like MultiInv manages the health across groups - but not MaxHealth.
Tux2, is this something that could be added in future versions?

Posted Apr 19, 2015I have a Factions world and a PvE world. I'd like them both to be able to come to spawn where the shops are to buy and sell items, but I don't want them to cross over with each other. Could I create groupA with world_spawn and world_factions and groupB with world_spawn and world_pve?

The latest dev build is not safe to use as it relies on TuxTwoLib build #5 which hasn't been released yet. I am still working with attributes, making sure they are saved correctly.
