MultiInv
What is MultiInv
MultiInv is a plugin that gives players a separate inventory for every different world running on the server. You can share inventories over chosen worlds and some players can be ignored entirely. With this power it is possible to have multiple worlds running on one server, but keeping them totally segregated from one another.
MultiInv can also separate health over certain worlds allowing for total separations of a world on a server.
If MultiInv refuses to work and you can't change inventories, it's because you have the wrong version of the TuxTwoLib or forgot to deny yourself the permission multiinv.exempt!
Update for UUIDs and 1.7.9 (there will be no support for 1.7.8 or below due to game breaking bugs) are here! Download will be available as soon as Bukkit Dev approves it.
MultiInv and MobArena are currently not compatible! Make sure users can only join a mob arena from the same world group!
Starting with MultiInv 3.2.1 we now require the library TuxTwoLib to maintain compatibility across various minecraft versions

- Option to use mySQL instead of flat files.
Forums/Problems
The forums for this plugin (at the top of the page) are the best place to go if you have any questions that aren't just general comments (such as "I hat you" or "I love you"). There I can see which problems have been replied too and who still needs help.
Using MultiInv with BungeeCord
Since BungeeCord requires servers to be in offline mode it's sometimes hard to acquire a reliable UUID if Spigot/BungeeCord isn't configured correctly. Here are the settings you will need to change:
In the BungeeCord config.yml make sure ip_forward is set to true
On the server in the spigot.yml make sure bungeecord is set to true
By setting these two options BungeeCord will be able to pass the correct UUID to the servers. Please note that if you are sharing inventories across multiple servers that this feature is still in beta and may not always work.
Commands
- /multiinv reload - Reloads config files.
- /multiinv import - Imports flat files into a mysql database.
- /multiinv mvimport - Imports Multiverse-Inventories into MultiInv, with the database that you have selected. (You will need to have the Multiverse-Inventories plugin installed when doing the import, just make sure to remove it afterwards)
- /multiinv miimport - Imports WorldInventories into MultiInv.
- /multiinv mcimport - Import Minecraft player files into MultiInv. (Only useful when you've got existing player data and you are enabling the SaveInventoryOnQuit option)
- /multiinv mcexport - Exports MultiInv player data for the default world into the default world in Minecraft format.
Permissions
- multiinv.reload - Permission to use the reload command
- multiinv.import - Permission to use the import command
- multiinv.mvimport - Permission to use the mvimport command
- multiinv.mcimport - Permission to use the mcimport command
- multiinv.mcexport - Permission to use the mcexport command
- multiinv.exempt - Exempts player from inventory switch (If your inventory is not changing, deny yourself this permission in your permissions manager!!!!)
Configuration
^That's a link up there
Updating from MultiInv 2.x to 3.x
- Delete your old config.yml file in the plugins/MultiInv directory
- Start the server with the new plugin
- Rename the Worlds folder to Groups under the plugins/MultiInv directory.
- Rename shares.yml to groups.yml
- Cut the creativeGroups section out of groups.yml and paste it at the end of config.yml
- Edit the config.yml to your prefrences
- do: /multiinv reload
- If you are moving to the mysql database do: /multiinv import
- You're done, enjoy!

Please note, that while I (Tux2) am maintaining this plugin you must file bug reports under the tickets section. If you're having a problem, try replicating it in the latest version of MultiInv as it could already be fixed! Also, if you want your problem to be addressed please make sure to include the MultiInv version, the TuxTwoLib version, your config.yml and groups.yml files contents as well, (even if it is a comment asking for help) If you do not follow these guidelines your comment may be deleted without warning!

Posted Apr 11, 2015I have issues randomly where rarely the inventory gets reset. I cannot replicate the issue, but it has happened twice in the last one month. It is a small server with about 30 players in total and these numbers are not an issue right now but they are concerning if more players should end up losing inventories.
I am running the 3.3.2-dev on a 1.8 spigot server. I am not using the mysql database.
The first time it happened was when a player got disconnected in the creative world due to a connection issue, this player logged back in to the survival world (Authme reloaded feature) and the survival inventory was empty. I thought that perhaps the quick teleporting to and from survival to creative caused it. And then I deactivated that authme reloaded feature so people would directly log in where they logged off.
The second time was yesterday when a player logged in. He was OP and he says he switched game modes a few times, pretty fast after he logged on. This made his creative mode inventory overwrite his survival inventory in the survival world.
Not sure if these issues are due to some kind of lag causing the plugin to malfunction? Would it be possible to somehow code-in double saving the inventories in some way? So if one inventory didnt have time to save, it would load the previous one? just suggestions and I am sure that you know best how to make it more reliable. :) thank you for your time and effort in this plugin.
Edit: I have now deactivated the separate inventories for separate game-modes in the same world feature. Multiverse resets game modes on travelling between worlds. I believe that travelling from creative to survival first changes the world inventory, then when multiverse sets the gamemode it changes inventory again. Maybe the order I mentioned is wrong, but it seems a two step process and I want to eliminate the steps and reduce the number of times that this plugin saves and reloads inventories. Hopefully this will lead to less instances of data loss.

There's no conversion necessary if all the players are in the current world, just remove the plugin.

Using 3.3.0, an old version, and complaining about how it doesn't work right?! I'm sorry, but I DON'T SUPPORT 3.3.0 ANYMORE!!!! The entire reason I updated the plugin is to eliminate some of the exploits. I'll do some more digging on the exploits existing in the new version, however I do have a job, and this plugin doesn't really pull in any money! Please remember that I work on this plugin as often as I can, however I have to put my paying clients first, otherwise I wouldn't be able to pay my rent, buy food, or live.
@TheOnlyRealTGS
Under what conditions do players lose their inventory?
@thunderwolf456
HELP! MY BLENDER ISN'T WORKING!!! HELP ME!!!! Details please. Config files, etc. would be very helpful as there are several different modes in MultiInv and I would like to know how you have it configured.

Posted Mar 27, 2015I am afraid to switch back to this plugin and it is the one I prefer, but I did a little tinkering with Multi-Verse Inventories and allowed it to control game-mode inventories and got rid of the plugin Gamemode Inventories and everything seems to work fine. I hope this can help someone.

Will try it and report ;)
EDIT: Redoing the same steps: Have survival inventory. Go to in Creative world. Your inventory is empty (intentional), Pick some stuff. Go at /spawn and disconnect. Reconnect, go at Creative and see you have your survival inventory + creative. You do /back and you see your survival inventory is duped (eg 4 dirt turn into 8 dirt turn into 16 if you go back-back-back) then /back in the Creative world and notice your Creative inventory + Survival is duped again.
Hope to see it fixed ;)
Also with MultiInv 3.3.0, Im getting those "java.sql.SQLException: Field 'chest_spectator' doesn't have a default value" or inv_spectator ones
EDIT2: Did a pastebin of 3.3.0 (stable here) http://pastebin.com/eTnetYRf
Could be related to inventory loss?-

That's why it's a dev version and not released, you don't need to cause a panic. Give me a second to look at that report you posted.

- if someone already asked this, then sorry i went back and comments like 4-6 pages and couldn't find anything in enderchest so i posted this.
