Movecraft
NOW MOVED TO SPIGOTMC, CHECK HERE FOR NEWER VERSIONS:
https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/movecraft.31321/

A Brief Description
Movecraft is a plugin that has been designed to give purpose to those extremely large (and awesome) oceans as well as to simply give the option to Sail, Drive, or Pilot amazing Ships, Creations, or Zeppelins. It allows the player and/or players to craft Vessels out of blocks that can be piloted and thus moved. Hence the name MoveCraft.
Credit
Movecraft was first created by Yogoda for hMod.
Movecraft 3 is a complete recode. It's only similarity to the Movecraft of Yogada is it's name.
Documentation, Tutorials, Quick Start Guide, and Demo Videos
For documentation and information, use this link:

Also the builds on that site are more up to date than the builds on this site, so download the latest version there. Please be aware the builds on that site have not been checked by the dev.bukkit.org staff, so use at your own risk.
Here is a brief summary of Movecraft features covered on that site:
Control Method Options
- Sign and Pilot Tool
- Sign only
- Direct Control (the players movements control the craft)
- Misc Commands - /manoverboard, /release, etc
- Remote Signs to remotely activate command signs from other parts of the ship (Turn turrets, launch torpedoes, etc)
Craft Options
- Basic craft configuration options including size, speed, allowed block types, required blocks, etc
- Customizable Cruise Control to keep the craft moving forward
- Customizable Fuel Burning behavior
- Customizable sinking/crashing behavior including smoke, explosion on impact, and uncontrollable dives
- Restricting motion to horizontal or vertical planes
- Customizable "Hover" land contour following behavior for cars and surface vehicles
- Optional craft teleportation
- Require water contact for sailing ships and water craft
- Crafts that explode when they collide with things for ramming or torpedoes
- Repair signs to repair your ship, requires mats, and can require a fee
Server Options
- Customizable Pilot Tool for craft control (or you can disable it to force sign only movement)
- Man Overboard timeout to allow anyone who falls out of a craft to get back in it
- Configurable WorldGuard protection against moving into forbidden areas or sinking over protected areas
Permissions
Movecraft uses the following permissions:
movecraft.<craft name>.pilot
movecraft.<craft name>.move
movecraft.<craft name>.rotate
movecraft.<craft name>.repair
For example, if you have a craft named "Airship", you would need movecraft.Airship.pilot, movecraft.Airship.move, and movecraft.Airship.rotate in order to completely use it.
There is also:
movecraft.<craft name>.create - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.cruisesign - only required if RequireCreatePerm is set to true in config.yml
movecraft.commands - grants access to /pilot, /cruise, /release, /rotateleft, /rotateright, /craftreport
You can also control these granularly with:
movecraft.commands.release
movecraft.commands.pilot
movecraft.commands.rotateleft
movecraft.commands.rotateright
movecraft.commands.cruise
movecraft.commands.craftreport
Dependencies
Movecraft does not require any other plugin to function, however certain features require additional plugins:
WorldEdit (>6.0) - For repair system
Vault - For payment system
In addition, the following plugins are supported for compatibility:
Cannons - Cannons will move with a piloted craft
WorldGuard - Region protection
Most common permission plugins - Assign permissions to various craft features

Good, I'd rather see MoveCraft2 than a fix for the old one, anyway. I was more letting other players know about potential bugs, so they don't have to do as much experimentation as I did. Can't wait to see the new release. :D Although, you should really think about adding protection support for the Drills, other-wise they are completely game-breaking for Faction/WorldGuard running servers.

Sorry but I am not listening to bug or feature requests for the release that are not show stopping. Movecraft 2 will have a completely separate list of them, and that must take my full attention.

Posted Aug 31, 2012I can confirm it working for 1.3.2 on our server. However, there are quite a few problems we've had to work around.
1. Chests don't work (obviously)
2. Dispenser in no way work. They don't produce an error code, but just... don't move. If a dispenser is on a craft, it won't move in any way, and doesn't say "Can't move any farther." Just doesn't move.
3. Turning tends to duplicate doors or make them disappear.
4. Turning tends to drop people if they aren't centered.
5. We are using the "Cannons" plugin for our battles, and buttons move out one block from where they were originally placed when the craft is turned, so they are no longer attached to anything. They re-attach when turned back to the original way.
6. Over long distances, the Hyperspace command calculations get screwed up. We've lost some ships over the border of our map that way.
7. NOT bugs, but perhaps things that can be implemented?
- Disallow drills to break protected blocks. (Factions, WorldGuard, etc.) - Re-implementation of licenses - once placed, the ship is calculated, and stays that way, to avoid welding to blocks, or having other players steal the ship without first destroying the sign. Would make pirating while flying more do-able, or make pirating impossible. (Config file option?)

I confirm that it does not work with 1.3.1 or 1.3.2.
Plugin loads without errors, and I'm able to use the commands and all..
However, whenever I right click in the direction with or without an item, it just wont move.
Vehicles do not move.
I use CB Recommended Build 1.3.1.
I tried it with CB Beta 1.3.2.
Both, Don't work and I don't see any errors in my console.
Thank you

First of all, a donation does not help me create more time :D
However, can you confirm the current version of movecraft does not work in 1.3.
Finally, Movecraft 2 has already been deployed functionally to my server community, and all that is really left to do is package it for release, and as I said somewhere else in the comments, I am busy IRL ATM.

Posted Aug 30, 2012So what kind of donations would it take to help accelerate the 1.3.2 release of movecraft? This looks like a rather complicated plugin.

Does the 1.2 version not still work. One user told me it would, but I assume by your post it does not.
If you are encountering an error on 1.3.1 then please report the error so I may fix the issue.

Sorry been busy IRL this week.
A recommended build is unlikely to be offered for a while, although I am told the old version will still work.
The Alpha is going to be released as soon as I get ten minutes alone with Netbeans....
