Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

About the same as vanilla aggressiveness, it will generally only work if you are in that range AND they have no way around to you. (approx 12 blocks).

No, spawn points are not made of blocks. Mobs spawned by them will follow the same rules as any others, they will break stuff.

Does the block breaking and block attacks also work for spawnpoints ?

1. I doubt conflicts would occur.
2. No support for factions is planned, but this functionality is available for worldguard.
3. Unfortunately not. I think its use would be extremely limited since you can leave burning in sunlight on.

Posted Jun 18, 2012Very interested in trying this plugin out, not sure where to ask, so I posed these questions here:
1. I use Essentials to disable all mobs except for Zombies, and I altered the bukkit.yml to heavily increase the spawn limit. Does MA overwrite this settings or would plugin conflicts occur?
2. I use Factions for our block-protection system. Would the block-breaking/zombie piling features of MA allow zombies to break/pile in Faction terrain, SafeZones, and/or Warzones, or would the two plugins clash in that respect? Any recommendations on configuration there?
3. Any chance of a "Night only" option being added that makes everything worse at night, but then normal vanilla (or just outright disables the plugin temporarily) during the daytime hours?

Not really, you could set their damage low, or use them for an archer server. It's there for novelty.
@rurikar
Fixed that in 8.1b.

Posted Jun 18, 2012I have noticed that you need to "engage" the monsters in combat in order for them to start piling to you or digging. If you remain completely passive, they don't seem to do either of those two.

Awesome news, thanks for the reply below btw. Also it seems giants are little silly when it comes to combat, anyway of fixing those.

I will consider auto-aggro iron golems for 1.3. It doesn't seem like too useful of a feature in most cases.
You can't make passive mobs attack/do damage, at least in a traditional sense, without spout. It make be possible to make a mock version.

Awesome!
One thing we are lacking in terms of mobs is to make friendly mobs well unfriendly and Iron golem etc. auto aggro.

Doing it now, this was essentially a minor bug.
