Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Apr 30, 2012With this is it possible to have weaker versions of normal mobs spawn in the day? So lets say I want a zombie wight. Who doesn't burn in the sun. And has less health spawn in the day. But stronger ones spawn at night. Is this possible?

You're not supposed to use '/ma'. You have to use a full spawn point command, with them enabled, or it will always throw this error. World control is done entirely through the config.
@Walliance
Enable custom monster health: true Enable natural spawns: false Enable naturalistic spawns: true Naturalistic spawns per tick to 10 or so
and then adjust the hp as necessary.
@rurikar
I haven't added support these yet. If they were involved with combat I might have done it sooner.

Posted Apr 29, 2012I've got several complaints/comments.
You can't properly configure the damage of creepers/ghasts as it is. No idea why.
You can't properly configure droprates, since there are ZERO default values shown in the config.
True Damage doesn't seem to apply correctly to mobs.
Disabling the spawning of certain mobs DOESN'T actually keep them from spawning. No idea why.
It SHOULD be possible to target monsters with attacks they're immune to, if only for knockback purposes; i.e. having creepers be immune to melee attacks keeps them from sustaining melee damage, but they can still be knocked backwards to allow an unarmed/otherwise non-ranged player to survive an encounter.
Zombies never use their suicide ability, EVEN if you enable it in the config file. This one probably just needs a bit of "rewiring" in the base code.
That's about all I can think of as it is.

Posted Apr 28, 2012Ello'. I'm not really used to configuring these kind of configs so I'd really appreciate some help here. What I'm trying to do with the plugin is to set the Monster spawnrate some what lower than default, and make the monsters harder. So basically: Harder yet fewer monsters for my entire world.
Any help is appreciated!

Posted Apr 26, 2012@blainicus Hi, I'm thinking your plugin is just the thing I need however after looking at your config, I don't see options to control enderdragons' health and what not. Is it available in 7.1 and not on the example config or is this something you can add?

Thank you very much blainicus. Honestly the pig zombies work just fine. I made they server spawn a massive amount of quick pigzombies with low hp and shit drops to chase the players around destroying block and digging for them. besides pigzombies are so much faster. I just made the zombie have high hp ,good loot and spawn in packs of three so when players run into them they will be scared but still want to kill them. Everyone in my server now has a flying ship now so.... fear really doesnt exist until i make more blazes and ghasts spawn in the server muhaha. Thanks for this plugin its amazing

@Avarious138
Mega-aggro on Zombies and Skeletons can't be fixed, as the new monster AI 'feature' doesn't allow for the method I used, and there is no alternative. It's like trying to make pigs fly without server modding at this point. There are only two ways to get around it if you really have to: use pigzombies, or run a 1.1 server. Quite honestly, I don't see the problem with staying on 1.1 for a private/low dedicated pop server, most of the newest minecraft patches have been either cosmetic or low-impact.
@Avarious138
Silverfish are used as pathing pointers for the mobs for mega-aggro, if they are visible then you are having some form of lag.

Posted Apr 25, 2012Hello. Is there any workaround to get the zombie and skeleton Megaaggro to work? Honestly i do love seeing 20-30 spiders hanging out above my house at night just waiting to drink my fluids ... But i would also like to see hungry zombies reaching into my windows trying to get a chunk of my flesh. If anyone has found a way to get at least the zombie to work with megaaggro please send me the right direction. Regardless this plugin is awesome and my girlfriend have a blast pushing the monsters out of our house in the night. Thank you for making this plugin and updating it!!!!
Also i have found a strange bug thats not a big deal but i thought i should report it and maybe you know a fix. silverfish... They pop up randomly in the air of our house on the ground outside pretty much anywhere around us for a split second then disappear . Almost like they are trying to spawn but they cant. I have there spawns set to false for the pure fact of they are just annoying! This is a very minor bug but it does get annoying. " DIE SPIDERSS!!! and a silverfish? oh never mind im just seeing things.

You have to put a full command, not just the prefix.

Thanks for your suggestion.
But it happened again after I tried ''/monsterapocalypse''.
How do I fix it?
Should I edit the ''spawnpoints.yml''?

Mega-aggro uses them as movement pointers.
@tony77794
You need to type a full spawnpoint command, not just /ma.
@fuchsiashock
Since 1.2, mega-aggro broke on zombies/skeletons, and zombie block breaking generally doesn't work. You can still use pigzombies.
@Masonnasty
The death chance thing, probably so. That's another thing for the next version. Checking sunlight can be expensive on the CPU, so I didn't add that when I could.

Posted Apr 24, 2012A request to the "Advanced Monster Properties" section.
Can you add in a chance for the death explosion to occur? I want to have creepers and sheep have a small chance of exploding when killed.
Also, is it possible to add in creepers to burn in the sun true/false? I added in the thing from another mob and it didn't work, as i figured.
Thanks,
~Masonnasty~
