Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Aug 7, 2013I'm noticing that zombies using meta-aggro are just as stupid as before the API changes.
They don't use the fastest way and don't aim for doors, they're just trying to go straight to the target.

Posted Aug 7, 2013Is it possible to make a blacklist for the blocks zombies can break. For example being able to break all blocks except for spruce planks.

It only affects players hitting monsters with melee, nothing else.

Is it possible to a add hit delay independently on each mob?
I am thinking of a rpg based server now ;) It would help alot if each mob were completely different - Giants or ogres (you will see in the future) Should not be able to be hit quickly!
other players should be attacked much faster, in my opinion - if it is possible to implement on a player, i don't know if monster apocalypse considers a player a monster ;D

Block breaking is confirmed as working on 1.6.2, it's something with your config.
Action RPG mode reduces/raises the minimum delay between hits on mobs and adjusts knockback accordingly. This allows you to have more exciting, more clicky fights.

Posted Aug 6, 2013Odd, I used monster apocalypse v15.0 with craftbukkit 1.6.2 R0.2 Beta and certain abilities such as block breaking are not working. My console has no errors whatsoever. I have 'enable all other monster abilities' set to true also, and the block breaking format is set up correctly.
Also, could you explain the action RPG mode? Sorry, but I cannot seem to figure it out :)

I haven't run into this issue, just make sure your MA version matches the mc build.
@mrrocks57
Try using zombie world, then raise spawn rates from that.

Posted Aug 6, 2013So i found the solution to my problem lied by using notepad. If anybody else has the spacing problem or it does not save the configuration try using notepad. However now i want to know what setting to change to increase the zombie spawn numbers. i increased the spawn chance drastically and the spawn count but it is not as much as i want to have. I also am having trouble turning off the bonus spawn. Every time i kill a mob it spawns another. I tried turning off the spawn chance and setting the spawn to false but it is still has bonus spawns. Anybody have an idea of how to fix the bonus spawn and spawn a lot more zombies

Posted Aug 6, 2013Hi, me again =)
I can't get multiverse to work with my server. It loads but it gives me load of errors when i try to make new world.
Nevermind that, i tried different versions. All 1.5.2 veresions of MA, still just invalid world name. So then i tried different bukkitforge builds for 1.5.2 (around 40), but server mostly didn't even start. When it did, the plugin just didn't load, or i got bunch of errors and it crashed again.
So i tried different forge versions, still invalid world name.
Also tried downgrading whole server to 1.5.1, after hours of finding bukkitforge build that would actually run without crashing when attempting to make server, i still got "invalid world name. Plugin stopped"
I'm totally lost here. Any more ideas i can try?

Try to keep syntax correct and use a good yaml editor. once a syntax is broken, or your save is corrupting.
Furthermore, make sure that you put the zombie config load to off, maybe that resets your config each time.
That leaves me a note for blain: @blainicus Maybe you can make it, so that enabling the zombie file loading on the first time, saves a backup of the older config?
Would spare some n00bs from making mistakes!

I haven't had issues with bukkitforge before, I suggest installing multiverse just so that MA can load off that.

Posted Aug 6, 2013Hi, first, i want to thank you, because this AWESOME mod brought me and my friends SO much fun. It finally made the "survival" part of minecraft truly survival.
But now i have a little problem with it. I used it on lan bukkit server, to play on lan with roommates.
Now i decided that i want to add ONE single mod, so it would add some more fun to Monster Apocalypse. It's Turret mod (Imagine how awesome would that be, with mega aggro and turrets, almost like some some fps alien game :D).
Here comes the problem though. Turret mod needs forge. I don't know, how to make bukkit run with forge, so i used normal server, with forge, (so it runs turret mod) and used bukkitforge (core)mod, so i can run monster apocalypse.
The problem is, Monster apocalypse runs, generates files, and in console, it says that it was enabled, but it also shows one error "Monster apocalypse: Invalid world name world. Plugin disabled."
I tried changing world names, recreating them, tried changing it in Monster apocalypse config file, removing and letting it create new, etc etc. Even when the names are perfectly same, it always says name is invalid.
Can you help me somehow please? (Or if you know how to run forge on bukkit, that would also help) Thank you.

Nevermind, I set Check for the deaggro permission for entity attacks, shooting super arrows, and mega-aggro?: to false and it is fine now. Odd?
Is there any way you can add an option to allow toggling of zombie speed without enabling aggro? Every time I enable aggro my server's proc usage redlines.

Posted Aug 5, 2013Once I updated to 15.0d with the latest build of bukkit, I have the config set to work for one world in particular. In this world, I can no longer turn off Essentials god mode for Ops, even though it is disabled in Essentials config for the world. I even removed perms for it.

Ticks thing is easy to fix, forgot to change that.
The addpotioneffect method for craftbukkit only has an integer parameter, not sure what i could do about it.
@techrosis
When you disable natural hostile spawns and natural passive spawns, MA executes gamerule mobspawning false. I didnt think about users with main worlds not running MA, so i'll change that for the minor version.
@mrrocks57
While editing your config, you can safely add new lines (press enter). Your config will still work if that's all you do.

Posted Aug 5, 2013I think i've done a stupid LOL, I must have set something wrong in the config. I have a separate world that I want MA to run on so I set it to that world in the config and enabled the bonus spawns for just that world. Now NOTHING spawns in my main world and only the monsters that i configured spawn in my MA world. How can I make it so that my main world is vanilla but the MA world take the MA settings? edit: okay something is major borked....i removed to MA plugin completely and still nothing is spawning in my main world...... good think i made a backup before this....i would still like to know wth happened :(
