Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Apr 22, 2013I'm also having a problem with the naturalistic bonus spawn settings reverting back to 'false'. The last time I tested my server everything worked fine, but I tried it out today and it kept changing back to false. I've also created equal proportions equaling up to 100% but they still revert. I have tried multiple configs but nothing is working out. Here is my config: http://pastebin.com/pxvAkLRA

i would normally agree with you and say theirs a chance for user error, but i'm using that same config for 13.1 without a problem, the issue only raises when i update to 13.2.

Do the percentages in the mobs set to "false" need to be set to 0%? Edit: I changed to that and it still resets it. Note, only the naturalistic bonus spawn items are reset to false. The others are not reset. Also, even though my % add up exactly to 100%, I still get console errors constantly of "Invalid bonus spawn proportion settings!"
Oh and one more thing: even though I have chickens set to false in both sections, I am getting an invasion of spawning chickens when I use the plugin (only happens on .13.2, not 13.1).
Here is my config: http://pastebin.com/mBn9qq8z I am running 1.5.1 R.02

I tried it with mob arena, it worked for me.
@rickoman
Check syntax, spacing, and that you added valid settings. Also, check that everything matches up to 100%, not 50% or 200%, add all the percentages in mobs together, and make sure they reach 100%.
Also, make sure numbers are valid, nothing like 10.0.0 , i had an error with that.

Posted Apr 22, 2013Thank you for the explanation. I am now having a problem: whenever I restart my server, it resets all of the naturalistic bonus spawn entries back to the default (mostly "false") even though I changed them to true.
What would cause this? I have no errors in the log.

I can't see any reason for it to revert, but I'll look into it while I'm updating Fear the Darkness. Eliminate user error sources. Spacing (use spaces not tabs), world names, etc.
@rickoman
Bonus spawns occur in a circular wave model, naturalistic spawns work exactly like vanilla (but more efficient and customizable).

Posted Apr 22, 2013Can you explain the difference between bonus spawns and naturalistic bonus spawns?

Well i took a look at my enabled naturalistic mobs, and made sure i set them correctly. But, after starting up the server and logging in, the second mobs start spawning the same error message appears. So i looked at the config file and the naturalistic bonus spawns had reset back to 'false', i corrected the file and ran the server again and every time i did this it ended with the same results, the naturalistic portion would reset to 'false' below are both versions of the config file, before running the server and after.
Before, this if how i normally have the config file set: http://pastebin.com/wKRZttbw
After, this is what it reverts to after running the server: http://pastebin.com/kyUkSevP

You need to define what blocks you want the zombie to break, make sure to use correct enums, its under the Advanced zombie properties, under zombies, where you see the
block:seconds
Add blocks from here: http://jd.bukkit.org/doxygen/d6/d0e/enumorg_1_1bukkit_1_1Material.html
Make sure to use correct syntax, like so:
Correct:
- STONE:10 - WOOD:5 - WOOL:5 - LOG:1
Incorrect:
- SToNE:4 - 5:5 - wool:5 - 1:LOG

You havent set any attackable blocks for the zombies. MA needs to know what blocks you want to let them attack and how long before they can break them

Posted Apr 21, 2013Hey, I'm having a a problem with zombies destroying blocks to get to the player. I have zombies attacking walls enabled, and I have the new block attacking system enabled in zombie properties as well, but when I test the server they can never break through anything. Is there something that I still need to enable? Here is my config file: http://pastebin.com/n8LTd5W5
