Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Apr 17, 2013I not sure if what I want to do is possible, but if it is, I haven't been able to figure it out, any help would be appreciated.
What I want to do is have Monster Apocalypse apply only to a WorldEdit marked region. So things like super aggro, skeleton snipers, bonus spawns, etc only occur in the defined regions I have marked and defined using WorldEdit/WorldGuard.
Is this currently possible? If so how do I specify using commands and/or config?

I will try 13.2 when it finally becomes available however with 13.1 I had deleted my Monster Apocalypse folder and had the plugin re-create it completely and was still having ender dragons spawn with a completely fresh plugin-generated config (of which the only thing I changed was the name of the world where I wanted MA to be enabled...all other values were default plugin generated).

PLEASE NOTE it was user error caused! Your configs that are spawning dragons now are still set wrong, and will spawn enabled mobs incorrectly!

Posted Apr 16, 2013I have found what's causing the enderdragon/etc spawns bug! It was quite hidden. I'm patching a fix as we speak.
Invalid config settings were spawning random mobs of any type, rather than just the enabled ones. I couldn't replicate it because I was setting my proportions properly.

Posted Apr 16, 2013Im on Craftbukkit 1.5.1 R0.3 DEV build. This issue also happened on Craftbukkit 1.5.1 R0.2 BETA build. I have replicated this about 6 times and even used the default config with ONLY bonus spawns set to true and they still spawn giants, ender dragons and ghasts at night.
IVe tested it with nothing but Monster Apocalypse installed and its still happening.

Please educate me and post up a working config where mega aggro works....
I ran this plugin for a few months without any issue, its only since upgrading that mobs no longer chase anyone from a large distance.

I'm not sure i'm seeing an error when i use the config, check for conflicting plugins that might block mob-breaking actions.

You can't add virtual spawners threw the config, its threw the command, and sorry - but once the mob spawns it's unhandled by the plugin.

Here is a copy of my config for anyone who might be able to help. Here is the problem specifically. Even with Ender dragons and Ghasts set to false, they spawn randomly on the world when bonus spawns are set to true.

Posted Apr 15, 2013Was just reading the config, and is there anyway with the virtual spawners to do something like: one mob spawns, a new mob will not spawn there unless the old mob has died. When the mob dies, the spawn timer for the new mob will start from the top. So, kill a zombie with a 2 minute respawn timer, the new zombie that should spawn in its location will take 2 minutes to spawn.

I can't help you without a config, but from a first glance it looks like you input a incorrect enum at the block breaking section, make sure to use a valid enum, with caps.

Posted Apr 15, 2013Right now if the ONLY spawning you want are "Naturalistic bonus spawns" (without editing anything else except for blacklist/whitelist stuff), you still only get skeletons to spawn.
I was told that it was due to the spawn proportions, I see in the patch that was fixed; I still can't get any thing to spawn other than skeletons.

Edit: I realize there's a section on "Natural" if I wanna change the spawn proportions and etc, but I can't alter the light level (0-5, so we don't need so many flipping torches in buildings) etc. with natural spawns, only naturalistic bonus spawns.

I have been unable to reproduce this issue under any circumstance. My best guess is that people are loading their old configs with the mob list out of order, my suggestion would be to make a new config and copy that spawn proportion list over, then re-adjust it.

How did you stop the bonus spawns from sending out Ender Dragons and Ghasts? The moment I turn them on they spawn even when set to false and spawn rate to 0%?

btw the mega-aggro doesn't work with spider and extra spawn too, only basic mobs are spawning (skeleton,zombies,spider,creeper) while settings are on true.

I'm joining your stance, i've been using this for quite a while, it worked perfectly on all my servers, i've created many in a genre of custom monsters, horde survival, mob apocalypse. Even now, it works seamlessly with 1.5 on my server, mobs sprint sometimes, hordes spawn, no ghasts, no ender dragons. only what i need. Also, most people know nothing about correct formatting, you complain about so many problems and ask for it to be fixed, while the actual problem is YOUR config formatting. use caps on enums, type false correctly, its all formatting.
