Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

You are free to use it commercially, as long as you do not sell the plugin itself unmodified, and do not claim ownership. Source code is included for self-modification. Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

I gotta defend this plugin. Up to the recent updates, all the values were working for me. I used this plugin very extensively up to this year. This is the first patch that this has happened. Maybe you dont see it from the perspective of someone whose enjoyed this plugin for months, but I am here daily hoping the dev can fix the config value problems. Because I would like to continue using this plugin, however, the bonus spawns are a vital part of the servers ive run, especially for mob swarming.

Posted Apr 14, 2013Im sorry, but this plugin seriously sucks! As for my case, and apparently many other people's, many values in the default config doesn't even work. Things spawn when hey shouldn't. Also tested this plugin by itself and same thing, so no conflictions....

I don't have a plugin called Simple Plugin Manager. Or a plugin manager at all.

It looks like Simple Plugin Manager may be interfering with Monster Apocalypse. Unless that plugin happens to be giving you errors too. Try Removing Simple Plugin Manager and see if you still get errors.

Posted Apr 13, 2013I am having the same problem as GodsDead. When I turn on bonus spawns it ignores the config and spawns all the mobs at 100%. Disabling it stops the bonus spawns, but the Naturalistic Bonus spawns have no effect on spawn chances. I am trying to configure it to have all mobs minus EnderDragons and Ghasts spawn on the overworld, but no matter what value I put in, they spawn even at 0%

A Reload command would be helpful. I get tired of having to reload the whole server.

Just use the list of enums. http://jd.bukkit.org/doxygen/d6/d0e/enumorg_1_1bukkit_1_1Material.html
And correction, Aldaitha -
They don't "Change" the code, they add to it, and maybe alter small bits, what actually changes is the API, which is what the plugin uses, causing this to have to be re-designed in some situations. Especially in server updates, that's why most plugins work when only a bukkit version is updated - R1, R2, R3... But when a game version is updated, more is added to the server, meaning they actually have to alter other things.
Thats what caused the difference between alpha and Beta.
