As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

The server crashes were not about Minigames. It was AuthMe's fault with the 2.7.8 upgrade. I downgraded AuthMe and it works just fine now.
Still, can you strengthen the teleport priority. So that Essentials doesn't interrupt Minigames?

They was doing a Single Player Minigame and in the middle of it the server restarted and when he logged back in he wasn't in the minigame anymore so he went to spawn and all his legit items vanished.

The area is not protected. Any opped players can break the blocks, so im assuming its a permission im missing. And what is the command for block breaking?

Soon, very soon, I'm waiting on 1.5 first though, I assume a pre-release would be next week, and I'd rather have a build ready for Bukkits release than release it twice.
I may be able to optimise the floor degenerator a bit. Its running ok, I have it on my Super Spleef for 16 players with barely any noticeable issue.

The combination Spigot / Minigames works just fine.
As LiLChris06 says, many are using dev builds .. so no wonder things break some times.
The only thing i notice well running visualvm is that the floor degenerator is taking up quite alot of cpu time during spleef games, is that something you would expect? its not like its lagging my server and as long as there is no lag i'll happily use the degenerator to avoid spleef cornering :D
Any news on arrival of the next version? and specifically a feature to optionally set return to last checkpoint upon rejoining a single player game :)

Posted Feb 23, 2013For some reason, I can't set it to give 10 of an item as a reward, it just defaults to 1. I type:
/mgm set Riot reward 266 10
so it sets it to 10 gold ingots as the reward but when I do:
/mgm info Riot 3
The reward says Reward Item: gold ingot (x1)
Maybe I'm doing something wrong? :P

You have some other issues going on, I don't have all those problems and I use spigot.
No crashes with 100+ players.

Right now many dev builds are out to test new features, some people seem to download without reading.

Ugh, spigot... Thats the main problem. And Minigames doesn't handle chunk loading at all... I don't know what they're talking about...
As far as I know, Spigot seems to break a lot to do with Minigames. A lot of people have reported bugs that only appear in Spigot. They don't seem to keep up to the standard as Bukkit does and I don't really have the time to do builds for both bukkit and Spigot. Especially since spigot seems to break things all the time.
