As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Even medium priority would be fine for Minigames. Other plugins only override Minigames when their priority is set to highest. At least theres a fix for one of them!

Interesting.... Lemme see if thats happening for me too. As for the error, that would appear to be something to do with loading Minigames on startup. Check to make sure you don't have a random corrupt Minigame file hiding in the plugin data folder. If not, I'll try see what the problem is there too.

Posted Jan 3, 2013I have confirmed that HomeSpawnPlus is messing up the death spawn of the death match games .. any idea how to fix this?
Edit:
Fixed it .. I set the eventPriority to low in HomeSpawnPlus config.yml and now minigames takes over when people are in the minigames

Posted Jan 3, 2013I'll share my current standings. All the games made are operation but as mention 2-3 posts down, I am also getting only 1 reward item even though I specified 5 or more to be given. The monetary reward is applied appropriately.
Another problem, on a Race gamewhen the winner right clicks the finish sign and the losers aren't close to the finish line, they don't get teleported to quit block. They don't get teleported at all. The game does end for end but are stuck inside the race track.
Alright, that's that, the other problem is I see this error in console pop up every once in a while:

Reward problem doesn't happen for me. I'll try to reproduce but I may need more info.
There is no CTF in Minigames ATM... Idk where you got that from. That command was removed ages ago too due to being useless. The flags are only for SP and Race.
As for the rest I don't have those issues either. Again I'll look into them but it looks like you have a conflicting plugin.

Yes most home plugins conflict with no fix. They have to fix it their side. The only one I know works is essentials.

Posted Jan 2, 2013...Well, time for me to share my latest Mini-games findings...
Rewards for minigames such as Single Player are famous for only giving 1 item as a reward, no matter the quantity indicated-However, it seems to happen more frequently for quantities in the double digits (10s, 20s). Hope that helps.
Also, TeamDM CTF seems to end the game upon three player kills, and not 3 flag captures. The command: "/minigame set <Minigame Name> requireflag true" as seen in your tutorial is not a command at all. No such command, it says.
Also, large quantities of regenerating blocks (chests, in this case) seem to bring up an error on start, breaking that specific mini-game. I've created a help ticket for this problem.
Also, my players frequently get problems with their inventories, most commonly I get daily complaints about how their inventories prior to joining the mini-game are wiped upon exiting. I'm not completely familiar with the circumstances surrounding these phenomenons-I just know they're annoyingly common for me.
Also, while the nametags are somewhat colored for matches, the color is hard to notice. Is there a better way to differentiate between teams so I quit shooting at my teammates? And/or, is there a way to give separate inventories to separate teams (blue team gets blue armor, red team gets red armor, etc...)
Also, and I know this has been mentioned before, but I'd like to see on the sign itself (on the fourth line of text) whether the mini-game is available, in use, has a queue, how many people in the queue, how many people are in the game, etc.
Also, I'd like a pony. Not too big, not too small, with a nice, soft, bushy mane. Thanks.
::UPDATE:: That one mini-game arena I mentioned earlier, the broken one? Apparently Every MGM arena with a minplayer higher than 2 is now broken. So, that's fun.

Posted Jan 2, 2013I got a problem with setting up spleef, Players can join but the game wont start, When i do /mg info spleef i get An internal error.
When i click on a join sign i get the message: This minigame doesn't exist...
What is the problem?

im running the latest build, Cb 1.4.6-R0.1 uploaded on 30 dec. I do not get any error at all. All I get is that the person that dies quits instead of completing the game and does not get send to the quit position as the rest are after he press the respawn button. all my positions are set as you shown in lms and tdm tutorial.

Posted Jan 1, 2013We are tring to set up a teamdm game and for some reason when you die it sends us to our home instead of the team start points .. is this the way it is soposed to be .. or are we doing something wrong?
I have homespawnplus .. dont know if this is messing with it ..

Ah yes, I guess there are a few instances where more than two teams would work nicely. I could imagine 4 team CTF would be utter chaos! As for regeneration, it seems anything with a large area (even if only regenerating changed blocks as spleef does) still causes lag. I could slow down the regeneration more but I'm going to have to implement a wait delay to Minigames while it does this.

I have no issue with rewards in any Minigame :/ Just tested it then, 5 diamonds for winning any type of Minigame (as a test). Any chance of a full error log? If so post it on the tickets page.

Posted Jan 1, 2013Luzitano: MGM is bugged to reward only 1 quantity of any given item for most if not all mini-game styles. I can confirm this problem with Single Player-type games, and with Team Deathmatch-type games.

When they end only receive 1 and after the Scenario ends i have this error on console: 19:41:52 Minigames: gabriel2010 completed Deserto 19:41:52 CONSOLE: [WARNING] [Minigames] Task #18352 for Minigames v1.3.5 generated an exception But idk what exception it is -.-"
