As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

If you want to have a crack at it yourself its rather simple, just think of it as a merge of SP and LMS, its set up like LMS but played as SP (checkpoint signs and finish sign).

Yes, I found that the other day too. I have it fixed in the upcoming version. No option for a split lobby I'm afraid.

thanks for the great plugin, we use it a lot on the server.
but i got an issue with the treasure hunt minigame, when i set it up, define distance from spawn, rewards in chest etc. and i run the minigame, it crashes and restarts my server randomly at different times after a chest is spawned. this could be after 5 minutes, or 15 minutes, any time within the hour a chest is spawned.
if i stop the treasure hunt minigame, the server keep running as normal without crashes.
is this a known issue? i didn't had this before 1.3.5, im running craftbukkit 1.4.6-R0.4.
also, im making a team deathmatch arena, with 2 sides with red and blue color, is there a way to make the red teams lobby on the red side en blue teams lobby on the blue side? instead of 1 lobby. i hope you know what i mean, that would make my arena perfect :)

"PermissiblePEX.hasPermission" Do players have permission to use the signs? If they do, its a problem with PEX. If they don't then it may be a problem with my permissions. (And you'll need to give them permission)

Posted Jan 9, 2013Fantastic plugin! I have used it on numerous minigames, but is there any way to include a feature that will allow regular blocks to be regenerated as spleef arena floors, say an arena that the players must dig their way to the goal. This includes adding a way for allowing the player to break blocks. If these features are already available then I haven't found them and i must learn more, but at any rate, I have had no problems using this and thank you for it.

Yes its an issue I fixed in the update I'm working on. Bukkit changed something that disallows players (under certain circumstances) to be teleported. No sorry, no way to rename it, I shall add that eventually, but as you said, the only way to do it is to go into the config and rename it, change the folder name and change the name in the main config. I can't wait for CTF either. (Its almost done :) )

Posted Jan 7, 2013issue... I have a paintball (lsm type) arena setup. Works great, except the losers are not teleported to the quit position when they lose. They stay in the arena. Their gamemode is updated and it says they are leaving the minigame, but they stay in the arena and don't go to quit location. Minigame quit signs work fine for the patinball minigame. I have deleted the minigame and recreated, same thing. Any ideas or things I could test? BTW, no errors in server log. Says player quit the minigame.
Also, can I rename a minigame? I created a minigame as ParkourTower1, but would like to rename it to just ParkourTower. Is there a command to do this or can I just change all references to it in .cfg files?
Thanks for the great plugin _Razz_. All my other minigames are working great! Can't wait for CTF... I have been holding off on setting up a CTF arena, because I know yours will be awesome!

Can also use the homespawnplus command /spawnlist, find the id of the spawn in your minigame world and use /spawndelete id to remove it, and the conflict will be gone! Don't worry, the spawn point will still exist too!

did you see my post about getting HomeSpawnPlus to work with Minigames?
If not there is a setting in HomeSpawnPlus config file to set its priority to low .. this allows Minigames to take over.
May wnat to add that to your Install notes ;-)

Nothing too major, looks like a Minigame tried to start with no players in it... I'll see if I can find out why.

Did you test regen after you quit the Minigame? Playing by yourself? It won't regenerate when you quit thats all. Force end instead (/minigame end)
