As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Aug 5, 2013I'm trying to set up a "juggernaut" minigame (teamDM with 1 player in blue team with massive loadout and all other players in red team) I'm having some issues since i can't set the team balance to stay at 1 in one team and all others in the other team.

I want to make infected like in modern warfare 3. I set up the weapons in global loadouts because i use them for teamdm and free for all aswell. But when i go play infected the infected doesnt change to the 'red' loadout as defined for the minigame. Is there a way to fix this. Or a way to make multiple loadouts for 1 team and 1 fixed loadout for the infected team>?

Posted Aug 5, 2013How can I do for have unlimited reward? Player can have only once the first reward and once the second reward. I wand that if their team win (in TeamDeathMatch) the receive a reward and that they receive a reward every time their team win. (Sorry for my english, I am from switzerland)

Posted Aug 4, 2013Hi, I have it set on a TDM/CTF game type, and I have to separate load-outs, red and blue. I want to give them both team color dyed armor, but I think it uses metadata, and therefore have no idea where to put the meta data when doing /mg set [game] loadout 298 1 red??? Where do I do it, if possible. Thanks in advance!

Check your startup logs, if theres an error, check each Minigame config for any problems (PM me the error and I'll be able to tell you where the problem is)

Posted Aug 4, 2013Can you add the minigame cool down function? And also when I joined the minigame, then logout , all my staff will lose (1.6.2 server) ...And can I use my own staff to play minigame? (Don't clear and save my staff, just keep me use my staff)

Posted Aug 4, 2013Is it possible to give diffrent rewards? Like if you got in first place you get 7 diamonds 2nd 5 diamonds 3rd 3 diamonds and everyone else gets 1? Also how do I give players money for a reward? Finally is there a way when you join Spleef it dosent give you a diamond shovel and you can set the block to something else? Thanks

Posted Aug 4, 2013I don't know what happened ... but my minigames are not working .. I can create a minigame but on server restart when we try to join any of the games it says it does not exist.
Edit: found the problem .. I had deleted a world that had a minigame in it .. after I removed that minigame they all started working again

It doesn't work like that. If there are more players on red then there are spawn points, it will just cycle back to point 1 and loop.

Mostly yes. Things that players don't change such as leaf decay will need a regen area (on the wiki).

Well I got it to work using another plugin as a bypass. But, do you know how to prevent Friendly-Fire? I created a Gun Game match and players on the same team can hurt each other lol

You can customize amount of players per team by setting they're start locations. Example if you want 4 max people to be in the red team you do
/mgm set (name of mgm) start red 1, 2, 3 and 4 so that way only 4 people max can be in that team

Well i tryed CrackShot and Minigames once and they worked perfectly. I had multiverse that time but i think it should work fine without it.
