As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Aug 3, 2013Is it possible to give diffrent rewards? Like if you got in first place you get 7 diamonds 2nd 5 diamonds 3rd 3 diamonds and everyone else gets 1? Also how do I give players money for a reward? Finally is there a way when you join Spleef it dosent give you a diamond shovel and you can set the block to something else? Thanks

Yea its easy, the command is
/mgm set (name of mgm) loadout usepermissions (name of loadout) true
Then give this permission for the donators: minigame.loadout.(name of loadout)

To make it work fine, just create a world, and put your minigames in that world, then go to authme config and add the world name to ForceSpawnOnTheseWorlds: thats all you need to do. Thanx. Of course you need an inventory plugin like multiverse inventories, to separete inventories from the game world.

You can adjust the wait time, but only for every minigame.
Look for the 'waitforplayers:' setting in your config.
I would love to be able to set individual wait times though :)

Try removing and creating the minigame again, the file for that minigame might be corrupt. If it still doesn't work then remove the folder manually and remove the minigame from the list in the config.yml

Posted Jul 31, 2013Hi, how i set up the MySQL Database? The Plugin said: SQLibrary not found! You cannot use SQL to save data! Why? I controled it permanently, no write mistakes. The data shows how every other Plugin i have configured.....

/mg list - Lists all the minigames correctly. /mg join <minigame that was on the list> - says it doesnt exist. (The Minigames are listed in the minigames folder) /mg reload - Internal Error (LOG: http://pastebin.com/3Rmwmdzx)

Posted Jul 31, 2013If players log out while in minigame they should teleport into end/quit position but instead they get teleported back to arena with the stuff from minigame and also lose their inventory. This must be caused by AuthMe plugin that teleports players back to their quit position (they spawn to quit position before logging in). Anyway to fix this or any plans to make this plugin work better with AuthMe?

As far as the pvp and block breaking in the lobby .. I set a global region that blocks build and pvp .. then created a region around the game that allowed pvp .. and block break if needed.
You can also set the regions to control what mobs can spawn.

I am using Minigames-V1.5.2 for CB 1.5.2-R0.1 for Bukkit Dev 1.6.2
-If a team/player wins, and the arena has regen on, TNT will still continue to blow up after the game is over and after the arena has been regenerated, destroying the arena. I recommend either delaying the regen by 15 seconds or clearing all Entities, adn delaying the regen by 2 2secs. -Items duping in chests with regen on. I do not know what is causing this, but you may want to look into it. (Could be caused by the previous bug) -/mg set (arena) blocksdrop false DOES NOT affect TNT and other explosions -People glitch when joining the lobby, they sometimes spawn 1 block lower then they should. -People with survival can destroy the lobby. -People can PvP in the lobby. Suggestion - Ability to set an "arenablockmobspawning" or "arenaBlacklistMobSpawning"
