What is MassiveCore?
MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:
- ItemStack and Inventory serialization
- Commands
- Plugin Integration
- Data storage with JSON
- Disc IO
- … and much more …
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
Plugins Using MassiveCore
Internet Connections
MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

Hey guys. I have a server running on 1.7.5, I downloaded CB 1.7.5 from the files, and then I try to download factions and nothing happens. It just says "Could not load file "Factions" in plugins directory."

Posted Apr 25, 2014The devs of Mcore will develop an update as soon as they can. For now you must wait or download an unofficial developed one from somewhere. I would not recommend doing this as they could contain viruses.
You should just be patient and wait.

Trolls? You can't just call them "trolls" for providing an up to date version. Calling it "plain dumb" does not make sense at all either. If you are scared of his version being dangerous, just decompile it yourself.

Posted Apr 24, 2014As for all the other trolls offering an 'Update'... any jar file you install has the potential to broadcast just about any information about your server, including who signs in, out, whatever. Anyone who uses an Mcore build that is not massivecraft and bukkit approved is just plain dumb. It would be nice to have an update for 1.7.8 We really need it because spigot and bukkit didn't say that 1.7.8 would break your faction server !!

lol - We backup the server twice a day via differential backup and twice a week via full backup. And when 1.7.8 came out, the console advised to back up before pressing 'Y' for 'YES' and of course, we did !! What does backup have to do with mcore being 2 months behind as usual ? Or bukkit and spigot not mentioning that staying current by going to 1.7.8 will destroy factions. In fact, we only had one plugin break: MCORE !!

Well, because nobody ever gave the warning that once you go to 1.7.8 or 1.7.9 you can not go back to 1.7.5 !! That's the stupidest thing that ever happened !! I would go back to 1.7.5 in a heartbeat if our players wouldn't lose their data. Thanks for your input tho. A good simili would be this: You buy the worlds greatest car... but the never told you that once you are out of gas, it will only run on apple juice !!

factions is no good broken and mcore breaks it. we can't just go back to 1.7.2 from 1.7.9
what's the solution ?? format the server and start with 1.6.2 mcore / I refuse to install someones hacked mcore as seen in prior posts. That download is 1.17mb vs the 1..6MB actual McoRe !!
Always behind with mcore is letting in hackers who would love to kill servers running factions.
