What is MassiveCore?
MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:
- ItemStack and Inventory serialization
- Commands
- Plugin Integration
- Data storage with JSON
- Disc IO
- … and much more …
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
Plugins Using MassiveCore
Internet Connections
MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

Posted May 3, 2014If 1.7.5 mcore isn't safe to run on a 1.7.8 server, is there an estimated timeframe of when mcore will be updated? thank you.

Deathdude3549, what version of 1.7 is your server running? I get a similar error when I try to use the latest official mcore.jar in 1.7.9.

Thanks MCTylerPVP, but according to the factions page, it will be maybe two weeks until a 1.7.9 factions plugin is released, so I guess I will just wait. Thanks for the help though.

The one I posted was put out by one of the maintainers of the Plugin, that tells me its pretty safe to use. Check out the Factions plugin page, that is where he posted it.

Lol you do know a malicious Jar file can do a lot more than see you logs in and out of your server. They could change all the root passwords, make your server launch DDoS attacks against other servers, mine bit coins and of course delete every directory that your server has, deleting your server files etc.

You need mcore too and version 7 of java. If the problem persist try redownloading factions.
