What is MassiveCore?

MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:

ItemStack and Inventory serialization
Commands
Plugin Integration
Data storage with JSON
Disc IO
… and much more …

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.

Plugins Using MassiveCore

Internet Connections

MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

Factions Chat was really useful. Do you mind readding it? That's the only reason people are using 1.6.

1.6 is old. I don't support old versions of my own plugins :). Feel free to update to version 2.

BukkitDev isn't giving us the option to say a file's for CB 1.6.4. MCore 6.8.0 is for CB 1.6.4.

MCore 6.8.0, breaks Faction Chat on v1.6.9.5 (It shows your chat in both faction and in main chat)

I still get this with 6.8.0 on CB1.6.2-R1.0

Is 6.8.0 compatible with 1.6.4-0.1DEV or dependent on it? The download link says 1.6.2-R1.0.

But your server isn't on 1.6.4, it's on 1.6.2. That's a bit sketchy imo.

i went to the github for the 1.6.4 update but how the heck do i compile it into .jar format so my server can read it? sigh

it's safe, I only changed the dependencies to use version 1.6.4 and changed the references from craftbukkit (from R2 to R3).
