What is MassiveCore?
MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:
- ItemStack and Inventory serialization
- Commands
- Plugin Integration
- Data storage with JSON
- Disc IO
- … and much more …
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
Plugins Using MassiveCore
Internet Connections
MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

Posted Oct 10, 2013Do we really have to use mcore... I want the previous version of factions... It is more tidy without extra dependent plugins. Can you make one that is same as before but just does not require mcore and is updated to the latest versions. It can have less features and stuff... I just don't think I want to instakk mcore on the server and I believe it will lag for some small servers.

Posted Oct 5, 2013Hello to everyone! I am interested in running the mcore, and factions on my server, however, I'm not sure if I already went past the point of no return without a complete rebuild. Currently I have installed Essentials Suite(Spawn, GroupManager, Chat), Multiverse suite (Currently 19 worlds), Worldguard (Reguired by many minigames), Grief Prevention (Survial), and Plotme (Creative). I have been digging through as much as I can to answer my own questions, but I need to find out if I can install these plugins and just keep them "Separate" from the others. I noticed that Mcore has it's own multiverse, and the creative gates offers a whole new portal aspect to things, but would I be able to keep my existing plugins without having to "Recreate" everything? I have HOURS of work poured into the existing setup and I would really like to add the factions support for the players.

Posted Oct 5, 2013@BlueFlare1499 if you get the message "Invalid uppercase and lowercase letters in name." you must set the forcingOnePlayerNameCase in the mcore_conf/instance.json to false and the login should work.

Posted Sep 29, 2013when i i have installed the "Mcore" plugin. Now, whenever I log in, it says: "Invalid uppercase and lowercase letters in name. Please spell this name like: _BlueFlare_" (My username is _Blueflare_) I have no idea what is going on, and would appreciate if someone knows what is going on. Thanks

If you don't like the plugin, I would suggest you hire someone to make a similar plugin for you, that you like, or make your own. Cayorion has no responsibility to fix any bugs (if there are any?) in his plugins or add features, if he doesn't want to. You should be honored that he shares his plugins with you, for free.
