Components:

MChat - The core of the plugin, provides all the necessary functions expected of a chat formatting plugin, plus some more!
MChannels - Introduces the feature to create different chat channels that users may join
MSocial - Adds additional social features such as conversations and custom formatted pms, shouting/yelling, and custom /say formatting.
MAdvanced - Adds extra functionality such as an AFK Kicker, /who player lookups, and /online player lists.

For setting the "listVar:" in config.yml, what variables are accepted? I just want a simple list sorted by display name, but listvar: displayname and listvar: dname both do not work.

Just a little bug: At incoming PM one space is missing:

Also 2 suggestions: If somebody PM'd i can only reply one time, can you change this? If i PM someone and want to write a second message i've to type /m <nick> again, is it possible to get /r working at the second time PM'ing anybody?

Last question: What means the "listVar:" from mchatEssentials in config.yml? Yes, i know, the /list command variable but what does it do and are there any other possibilities than "group"?

ok i got a few requests.

1. Current Heroes support. an update to the heroes plug-in has made Mchat not even load anymore. this is a huge problem since mchat is used to make the core of my Faction vs Faction PvP server. Here is the error report

2. an option for health info. currently you can have health notifications come up in chat but this also turns on the Spout health above peoples names. (which is the Greatest health feature ever for a RPG PVP server). i would like to get rid of the chat notification and just keep the spout health bar. this is a must have feature for any healing class

Could you guys fix it so mChatSuite can display the clan tag of SimpleClans ? It currently does not work.

This does not support factions which is getting me very mad since I am using factions and can't fix the problem if people are in a faction there name if there name is airship its a[airship]irship

how do I use the locale?

and where did the Spout features go?
I enable the Spout but when we are typing or someone joining the game, it won't notify..

I also in the latest build removed the forcing of this and also made it not hang on plugin load. Thanks for reporting the hanging issue.

Yes, That was my intention. I want to setup a backdoor on your server so that I can do what? Its a chat plugin. The license is the way it is so that when I include External Chat Relay people CANT say that they were unaware of this feature. It is up to the users to keep up with things. I shouldnt have to display a message like forty times saying what a certain feature does. I WILL NOT EVER setup a backdoor or give my self unlimited access to anyones server. I could have done that without a license months ago but I chose not to be a lowlife and actually inform people that there may be data passed back to the server IE. mChatSuite usage stats (Can be disabled), External Chat Relay (Can be disabled), And any future CHAT RELATED FEATURE that envolves sending info over the internet. Also why would I setup backdoors if my source is posted up for everyone to see?

This plugin is ridiculous. I've set up everything as bigggan wrote and it didn't worked. I've copied my config and info ymls from december (which worked back then) and it didn't worked, I've downloaded newest version and it forces me to accept license which allows creator to set up backdoor on my server with unlimited access! And even after that it did not work at all (whole server just hang up on start after enabling mChat). Also it's utterly annoying that I can't get rid of default users, groups and such, because it's recreated all the time. Worst plugin ever.

Just put in config useoldnodes: true

Then add in info.yml your groupnames:

mchat: prefix: default: '' guest: '' Trusted: '' Admin: '' Owner: ''

Where inside '' you can add colors or prefixes. then in the permissionplugin add this:

mchat.prefix.default: true mchat.prefix.Guest: false mchat.prefix.Admin: false

Remember if you use inheritance you must add the previous rank as false.

I have absolutely no clue how to use this plugin. Its very confusing. Im familiar with iChat, and that is what I am using right as of now, but its discontinued and mChat will be my replacement... however I do not know how to do anything to configure it in anyway, the examples didn't help me very much either.

If there was a walkthrough from step 1 to finish, I need it. iChat is very simple, and I was hoping that for mChat also, maybe I am missing something.
