Components:

MChat - The core of the plugin, provides all the necessary functions expected of a chat formatting plugin, plus some more!
MChannels - Introduces the feature to create different chat channels that users may join
MSocial - Adds additional social features such as conversations and custom formatted pms, shouting/yelling, and custom /say formatting.
MAdvanced - Adds extra functionality such as an AFK Kicker, /who player lookups, and /online player lists.

MChat is now heavily dependent on Vault for interacting with other plugins, please remember to always use the latest released version, to prevent any issues.

Evry time I use the

/kick [player] +r [text]

nothing happens.

nevermind, it did change...had to do alot of searching....

mchatafk: description: usage: | /<command> [REASON] - Displays you as AFK (REASON is optional). aliases: [afk, mafk, maway, away] permissions: mchat.afk.self

the .self was added to the end.....

did the /afk permission change?

cuz i had

mchat.afk: true

then i updated, and now noone has permission, and yet i never changed my perms

I keep getting "[mChatSuite] mChatEssentials'/pmChat's functions are currently disabled." When ever I try to use /afk, /list, /msg, and any other messaging commands.

I fixed the problem below but now I can't get permissions to work via the console. Every time I enter a permissions related command the main help menu comes up.

Solved somewhat

Hi Small problem: When I try to use the "say" command in the therminal I get the following error: [mChatSuite] mChatEssentials' functions are currently disabled.

I don't have mChatEssentials' Why am I getting this error and how do I get rid of it?? Thanks, Fido488

is there a way to disable the use of /t for mchatsuite?

i dont use pmchat, and i want /t for towny. but when someone tries to use /t mchatsuite overtakes the command and prints out a

"[mChatSuite] pmChat's functions are currently disabled."

using mchatsuite #70

It's horrible that you had to remove the default functions of /list /who /playerlist, even when I turn off mChate features I can't use them, not on the console or anywhere.

Also, is there any way to change the default AFK Tag? Because I don't need the "m" in front of everything.

I really really need a way to get rid of the mChat /list commands, since I use essentials to do that. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Wow, okay. I know how to get rid of this.

You can change the plugin.yml inside the .jar to remove all aliases that bother you. To the author, please note this somewhere on the wiki, it's horrible when you don't know about this!

Found a mistake either in the plugin or in the docs http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/mchat/pages/info-yml-help/:

#Groupnames are resolved with the +Worldname,+Wname,+W variables. #If a player has for example admin as their first group (or only group) than with the +W var it will be resolved to [a]. #As with Groupnames Worldnames are resolved with the +Groupname,+Gname,+G variables. #If a player has for example D3GN as their current world than with the +G var it will be resolved to [D].

I don't see sense in "+Worldname" resolving to the Group ("a") and "+Groupname" to the world ("D3GN").

@Maruu12 There is an option:

mchate: #Enable mChatEssentials Features. enable: false

But in my opinion, a disabled feature shouldn't message the users.

Whenever I attempt to use /list or /afk or any of the Essentials commands, mChatSuite says that "mChatEssentials' is currently disabled". I deleted EssentialsChat and any other conflicting plugin, but is there a way to enable it?
