MagicalSpells is a plugin that allows users to craft wands from materials and cast the spells available to that wand. It is fully configurable and people can create their own custom wands and spells. This video will show you the basics:

Description
MagicalSpells is a plugin that allows the users to cast magic and craft wands whenever they want. It lets them collect the correct materials for a specific wand, craft the wand and then cast spells using that wand. It can be configured to disable magic in worldguard zones, undo the explosions and damage to the environment, change the cost, cooldown, size and range of each spell and even create your own spells and wands.

Post the bug here In it include the error (if there is an error), your config.yml (if edited) and settings.yml(if edited), what you were doing at the time (what command,spell,wand...), what version you're using, and if possible what other plugins you have (optional).

That didn't work :( I even tried removing the numbers so it was just "Healing" on everything and it didn't show up on my wand list

umm, i think the problem is that your names should be matching. Example: you had:
Healing1:
name1: Healing 1
you NEED:
Healing1:
name1: Healing1
Take the spaces out, because they are the issue. This is the only obvious issue, if there are still issues, reply with them.

Thanks! Ill think of more as they come along, and thanks a LOT for answering my comment, keep up the extraordinary work!
Here are some more that came along: Protection: Glass surrounds the Caster to give him/herself a few seconds to heal. use a potion, or to just get a quick breath from the dangers outside.
ArrowShower: Same as ArrowRain except multiple waves of them. Its like one arrow rain, then 1 second later another wave of arrows on the same location, and so on so forth
FinalStand: Deals a LOT of explosive damage in a 10x10 block radius and kills yourself. Very good for those "Unescapable" PVP moments where death is certain, and you want to go out with a "creeper" like Bang.
EarthCrush: A 3x3 block of sand/gravel falls from the sky and crushes the enemy. The 3x3 block falls on the point that the Caster is aimed at while casting the spell.

I had only reloaded it once to remove it. Anyway, yes it's gone now. I will re-download it later and try again. I do really enjoy this plugin. That spamming was just getting old.

I did a reload and the plugin is gone. I deleted everything. Also that is the only thing that is reloading. We have a few things that pop up when the server does a reload and no issues. Again I removed the Jar and the folders and it's still spamming

You probably have a something that reloads your server every hour or something that causes it, just stop and start the server to get rid of the update messages.

You could update the plugin manually, or get a plugin that updates it automatically (i think they exist) And it only ever says there's an update every 15 minutes, this way if an admin joins for a short period of time, he can easily get notified.

Ill try to add an optin on the config that allows no players to be targetted by spells, although this may take some time. Ill also implement those spells, the machinegun and dustbarrage are really good.

Posted Jul 4, 2012Okay, first of all, i LOVE this plugin. Our 24/7 server is 24/7 psyched from this heck of a plugin. GREAT job.
Second, Can you make it so some spells dont affect other players, but effect mobs?
example would be integrating spells into MobArena. It works, but the only problem is
that players are using "Surge" to fling other players around. Is there an existing fix to this?
or can you atleast try to fix it? Any reply would be amazing.
Third, i have a few awesome spell ideas.
TimeBomb: Mob that is pointed when spell is cast turns into a timebomb and explodes, causing collateral damage to nearby mobs and killing/wounding the targeted mob.
MachineGun: Rapidly shoot # arrows like a Machine gun, like in Beta 1.8.
MeteorRain: Just like ArrowRain where arrows fall from the sky, but Meteors.
And as a former RuneScape player, i would love to see the Barrage spells from that game.
They are easy to code, and if these are already configurable without needing new handlers, please tell me.
DustBarrage
Small, 4 second poison while smoke effect is around enemy.
ShadowBarrage
The enemy is COMPLETELY blinded, whatever is needed to mess up their screen, like swirly effects, blind, spin, confuse, anything, and they are dealt damage.
BloodBarrage
Already configurable, pretty much Leach but stronger
IceBarrage
Pretty much configurable, enemy is frozen in ice and slowed, while damage is given.

Posted Jul 3, 2012So I love the plugin, but how do I trun the spamming off? I'm REALLY getting sick of the the plugin spamming there's an update every 2-3 minutes. Sometimes I'm a tad busy and can't just jump as soon as your plugin asks. If there is no way I will definitely find a new plugin

Oh cool, you can use any image for the background, just find one that you think look nice and atm there isnt a logo, if you want you can create you own one for it because the current one is pretty bad :/ Thanks for doing this, its awesome :D

1 - Just give me 1-2 days and you got 3 banners for you to choose (thats how i do it).
2 - Also , do you have any specific image for background or i can choose?
3 - Do you have any Signature image ( an image that represents the plugin )? ( ex : wand with fire ) , if don't , do you want me to make on and put on banner?

Posted Jul 2, 2012I don't know what happened to the plugin. It worked fine for me, until I updated, now i dont know why this came up on console, but i added debug, to see if anything would come up and i got htis: [MagicalSpells] false [MagicalSpells] mat:294 1 e0 or some shit like that, and i literally cannot cast any spells, i just left click and nothing happend
any ideas, and my friend could use them, but i couldnt so i tried to fix it and i fucked it all up, please help, im on latest craft bukkit, 1.4 workd 1.4 02 didnt
