Metrics Collection
This plugin uses bstats for metrics collection. The information sent to bstats.org is completely anonymous, publicly viewable, and includes the following metrics:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true, or by editing this plugin's config.yml and changing "metrics_level" to 0.

Automata are a little "odd"- firstly, you need to have command blocks enabled in your server.properties. You have to be sure you're not inside of a WorldGuard, Factions, Towny or PreciousStones region (you must be able to build and break by default).
You'll need a "blob" of some sort of material to get started with- stained clay for instance. Then cast the "Hunter" spell at it. This will create a command block and a redstone block, and if everything is working it will animate the clay and come to life.

I am having some trouble seeing this problem :(
I installed ItemLoreStats, but didn't use any of the commands or configure it at all. I didn't seem to have any issues with wands- I spawned a bunch of them, switched between them, cast spells, etc- I never got the "bound" message or any other problems.
I installed the very latest version of the plugin (just released yesterday) - 5.25 - maybe this is something they've fixed?
Let me know if you still have the issue with that version, and maybe some more specifics on exactly how it happens?
When scanning back through these posts for details, I noticed I missed an "EDIT" question from you.
If you haven't figured it out by now, yes you can put spells in command blocks. Magic includes a "flare_beacon" schematic that does exactly this- it's a redstone clock hooked up to a command block that casts the Flare spell. You can use that same setup to auto-cast whatever spells you like.
I also plan on (eventually) adding a way to create "persistent" spells that don't require a command-block, but behave in a similar way (loading/unloading with a chunk).

Check the server logs, there is probably an error about parsing messages.yml - it can be very fickle, in particular make sure there are no tabs in the file and everything lines up.

Posted Jul 4, 2015really am Spanish and I have a problem with the plugin when I get into my server and configure messages.yml with spells I want to restart my server the plugin stops working I put / wand and I get a message in red of a error with the command and stops running everything I do?

Hi :P Have you tried integrating with Quests (https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/quests.3711/) plugin? Like make quest where the player needs to have this spell, cast that spell, get this magic item, etc etc. It would be really awesome :D

Shopkeepers works well for selling spells and wands, if you're on 1.8
Um.. hm for that NPC issues, that is a bit odd, groups shouldn't matter... do you want it to just shoot up in the air? You could try adding a "pdy 1" parameter to make it shoot straight up, maybe?

Ok I won't use that plugin anymore.
One more: Ok I made an NPC here are her /mtrait : Permission: (none) Invisible: NO Cost: $0 Spell: Perficulux Caster: Player Parameters: (none)
Ok so the problem is, when I right-click her the spell hits the NPC making it like the particles come out from the NPC. But when default group right-click her, it goes through the NPC hitting blocks from the NPC's back. I tried doing Parameters: target_self, target_type, target still didn't work for me. :)

Posted Jul 3, 2015Hi Nathan! I just download dtlTraders 3.4.0-beta and I can't seem to figure out how to add spells or wands to a trader.
I put in a spell from /mgive spell:fire and i tried putting a price but it says "Price: None" also is there supposed to be default prices or not cause mine doesn't and after I lock it and try to buy it it would say "You cannot pay for this". I'm not sure but did I not get the right version or something.

Thanks that really helped alot. The only reason I didn't like the hot bar is when I scrolled through with my mouse wheel it would auto cast a spell. I couldn't select with the wheel and use that spell and scroll again to another.
Hot keys are really cool but for 9 buttons and using the number keys it takes me away from my movement keys while in a fight. So I limit myself to 1-3 spells and have weapons as backup.
Chest mode helps since I can select 1 designated spell and switch roles in mid combat with a flick of the mouse wheel.
Just me though. @MrHedra yes it was in creative but in survival it wasn't in chest mode.

It sounds like you want "chest" mode- which is not the default. Wands will use chest mode if players are in creative mode, though, which I think is what MrHedra was getting at.
You can do "/wand configure mode chest" to change your wand to chest mode. If you want that to be the default for newly-created wands, you can put the following in config.yml:
Also, if you are using the "wolf" wand, that wand goes into inventory mode no matter what because it's my personal wand and inventory mode is the best ;)
