Description

What is Lottery+? Lottery+ is a simple and powerful lottery plugin that makes lotteries easy to make and fun to play! Why should you choose my plugin verses others? Other plugins tend to limit you on options and your lotteries, whereas mine possesses limitless options! For instance these lotteries can have extensive options such as Towny support, Item economies, Item rewards, ect... To get started, follow my step-by-step tutorial. Hope you enjoy it!

Supports limitless lotteries with dozens options! The world is your oyster!
You can use '/lottery guic' to open a GUI to make the process easier to create your lotteries
Supports Vault so you can tap into you server's local economy.
You can attach a sign to a lottery so your users can use those instead of commands.
Supports NuVotifier so you can rewards users for voting for your server.
One of your users helped out with building something? You can rewards them tickets with '/lottery reward'
One of your winners wasn't online during the drawing? No problem! Lottery+ will simply store their winnings in 'claims.yml' so that when he/she jumps on later they can simply use '/lottery claim'
Your server not in fluent English? Or maybe you'd like the wording better on one of the messages? No biggie! Lottery+ pulls of it's messages from 'lang.properties'
Want to do more than just have a pot on your lottery? You can also add all sorts of item rewards and you can even add a 'command reward' that dispatches through the console so that covers a lot of bases.
Worried about players forgetting about lotteries? No problem. You can set in the config to remind players about them.
Lottery+ also will check updates from time to time (set in config)
Server restarting? No worries! Lottery+ will save and load your lotteries
Fair warning: Lottery+ supports Java 1.8

How do I start creating lotteries?

You can start creating them by following my thorough step-by-step tutorial. There are also some videos you can watch.

Are lotteries saved after my server reloads or stops?

Yes. Lottery+ is constantly saving it's lotteries to ensure they are up to date.

Do I need to install any plugins for Lottery+?

No, you do not need any plugins. It is recommended that you have Vault if you want to use your server's economy. Lottery+ also supports Towny and Votifier.

Where can I donate?

Is there a way to edit the messages?

Yes. If look for a file called 'lang.properties', you can edit the messages in their.

Troubleshooting

Before reporting an error, please consider doing a complete reinstallation. If you have done this, please consider writing a ticket. Be sure to add your config.yml and lotteries.yml when writing your ticket (using pastebin is fine as well). Remember, the more bugs I squash, the better the plugin becomes!

I just want to confim; If there are not enough people for the lottery to draw a winner, does it wait till until the next time span of the lottery to draw the winner, or does it draw the winner once there are enough people for the lottery requirements?

Great Plugin, but if you chould please release a 1.5.2 build that would be great im getting player listen event errors when i use bukkits newest dev build.

Hey,

I first want to say that you have created a very awesome plugin, but I have a problem though. If someone buys a ticket it says this: http://prntscr.com/11zqrh But in the lang.properties it says it should say this: lottery.mess.buy=&e<player> has bought <tickets> tickets for <lottery>

Do you know why this happens?

Also, I gave all the permissions to admins but it keeps saying we don't have access, so I have to everything via the console.

i have a bit of a bug
i have the latest version of lottery(0.8.8a)
for some reason,not all ways but players get there tickets wiped from a lottery that lasts over 1 restart of the server
-the money that the added to pot from buying tickets stays
-the tickets bought dissapears
-happens randomly to players,not always
-happens at restarts

Is it possible to force players to only buy lotteries thrue signs?

I admit I haven't tried it yet (to change the perms) but

Just make a local server on your computer with only this plugin in it and use the GUI on that. Then copy the file to the real server.

That's because you have the descriptions in your lottery you created when you're not supposed to.

lotteries:
  loteria:
    pot: 10000.00 - starting pot
    time: 1 - time between drawings (x hours)
    ticket-cost: 10.00 - cost of a ticket
    repeat: true - whether lottery should repeat
    max-tickets: 50 - max tickets a player can buy
    min-players: 2 - min players for lottery to draw
    max-players: 100 - max players that can be in the lottery

When your supposed to put just the values like this

lotteries:
  loteria:
    pot: 10000.00
    time: 1
    ticket-cost: 10.00
    repeat: true
    max-tickets: 50
    min-players: 2
    max-players: 100

Make sense?

Same as you, and when a lottery finish I have to load it to start again, and the max tickets is 50 and my players can buy 500... this is my config:

Could you put the "/lottery create" in for OP's only INGame please? It's a pain in the butt for us who have server's on VPS machines. Thank you.

When I buy a ticket it just says "[Lottery] - Wozo" instead of the "Wozo has purchased 4 tickets" or what it used to say before.

This plugin uses Vault. You could try contacting the developers of TotalEconomy and have them submit a request to add the plugin to the developers of Vault.

I love this plugin, but I'm getting some issues with it. When entering the commands in my console, I get this error: http://pastebin.com/AZhnj8n7

Also, when trying to use the in-commands, Lottery+ tells me I do not have access to the commands.

Is there something I've done wrong?

Well i used Bukkit R0.2 and i get these:

That is probably because you are trying to use it in-game. It can only be used on the console. Please check the commands page before trying other commands as well.

Unfortunately I don't really know nothing about permissions, let alone GroupManager :P All I can say is ensure that your default group has 'lottery.basic.*'
