Lockpicking
Our starting point:
You want to open a chest but you get this message:

But to open this chest you need to make some lockpicks first:

Now you can start picking the lock of this chest:

To open the lock click on the cylinders in the right order.
Whenever you press a wrong one the lock resets and if you have bad luck your lockpick breaks.

When you clicked all cylinders in the right order the lock opens and you can access the chest.
Its now up to you if you remove the lock from the first slot to disable it, leave it there to let everybody think noone opened it or even to create a key from one of your remaining lock picks.
Since v1.0.1.0 lockpicking is limited by permissions.
lorelocks.pick.* // Allows to pick any lock lorelocks.pick.1 // Allows to pick level 1 locks lorelocks.pick.2 // Allows to pick level 2 locks lorelocks.pick.3 // Allows to pick level 3 locks lorelocks.pick.4 // Allows to pick level 4 locks lorelocks.pick.5 // Allows to pick level 5 locks
The permissions are not staggered, so its possible that a user can pick level 3 and 4 locks but may not pick level 1,2 and 5 locks.

I put that in permissions.yml, but it just says "This lock is to difficult for you!" when anyone is trying to lockpick chests, and admins just bypass the locks.

Posted May 25, 2013What is the permission node that allows for admins to bypass locks? I think I must've missed it somewhere. Also, it would be nice if there were a way to prevent thieves from making their own keys for your locks. I'm not the most creative person around, so I can't specifically think of a way to do this, and still make it so you can have more than one key, but... Just throwing the idea out there.

Posted May 30, 2013Hi there, I run a rpg/faction server and I love this plugin, but i recently had to reset all my plugins, and this one doesn't give me the option to download. I'm sure its no ones mistake, maybe your working on it or something, but I'd like to put this plugin back on my server. Please put it back up, thanks!

Posted Aug 4, 2013For some reason when I pick the lock on a door, all the cylinders are slid either up and down and the lock is open, but then nothing happens. The lockpicking GUI does not close, and door does not open.
I also get this error in my console: http://pastebin.com/ZE90w0bE
