Hey fetusdisp!

Great plugin, def. useful for both creative and survival worlds.

I was wondering if you could help me with this weird error message I encounter when using your plugin on the newest craftbukkit rec. build or the newer dev. builds.

When starting up the server, LapisPortals loads up fine without any errors. But whenever any player destroys or places a block the server console fires out over 22 errors per break/place. This drains down the server prerformance pretty heavy and also makes the console almost unreadable. BUT after resetting all portals by breaking their door, resetting the door, thereby resetting the portal and doing that with all portals makes the errors vanish. Basically I have to delete all the doors and replace them after server restart every time. Before I replace the portaldoors - resetting the portals - they wont work and any place or break of any blocks by any player would causes these errors.

Here - I will link you a log file with the server starting up and a few errors when placing/breaking blocks. Then you can also see all the plugins I am using as well on the startup log. Maybe it collides with one, or maybe the LapisPortals plugin should be loaded last AFTER the multiworld plugin has loaded the additional worlds which the portals are in. Those are just my immediate ideas. This log is from a devbuild, but this error shows up the same in the latest recom. build as well.

This plugin is awesome! I salute you fetusdip! It has made my life on my server so much easier! They can even be used to warp between different worlds! I would like to see more of this plugin and you as an author! Keep up the good work and well done on the plugin!

Yes, Wanderer after looking at the problem again, I have found this issue to be more of a user error rather then a plugin error.

First, @RyujinKiryuu - I also use LWC on my server in combination with LapisPortals and I get no such error. As a caveat I do not have LWC automatically lock placed chests.

Second, @fetusdip - I love this plugin and my players do too! The one thing I would love to be able to toggle is the economy message. I want to use permissions for my portals so I have "UsePermsAndEcon: true", but portal use is free, and I desperately wish I could toggle off the message "[LapisPortals] Price to teleport: free" or at least edit the message. To be perfectly honest I liked the old message better, but being able to disable the message altogether would be ideal if it's not configurable.

This mod Conflicts with the mod LWC http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/lwc/

Gives LWC an internal error upon placing chest, at the same time it cancels out the portal.

Just thought I would let you know.

that would be awesome, also thanks for the update, i was having a panic attack thinking about replacing the portal plugin since it wasn't working.

is there a way to change the sound made when warping? i was thinking of using the endermen warp sound.

1.3.1 worked for me!

I put the LapisPortals.jar file in my plugins folder but it doesn't seem to work when I build a portal. I followed the build in the first video shown here. Under "Relationships" on the right, it says "Optional dependency", this means I don't need those plugins for this to work, right?

Okay so i just updated this mod! and i was super excited! when i tried to create the new portal nothing happend!!!! =( I have no idea what the deal is. i am an op on the server i am only running lapisportal and a few other mods dyna map and world edit and treeassist so im not sure if there is a conflicting adon or something props to anyone who can tell me why i cant create any new portals!

Plz update because i need this a lot.
