Jail
This plugins adds Jail to your minecraft server. Admins can define several jails and then jail/unjail people or jail them on time basis. Plugin also offers wide variety of protections, so players won't escape out of your jail.
Features:
- Jail online and offline players
- Wide variety of protections to prevent escaping or simply to create more interesting escape route on role play server.
- Protection penalties (increase jail sentence if player is not behaving well)
- Guards that will kill player if he tries to escape
- Data is stored in either SQLite or MySQL.
- Supports multiple worlds
- Jailing without commands via item
- Supports escaping for role play servers.
- Allows players to vote a player to be jailed
(you can opt-out from tracking in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml)
For errors, problems and suggestion make a ticket! Errors, problems and suggestions in comments will be ignored.

No, no problems. I've had a temporary server running for quite some time now and it's been a while since I've had a chance to try out Jail. Glad to hear all those tickets from 6 months ago have finally been fixed :-)

After reading this comment, I finally get the point of JailStick now, lol. Like @graywolf336 said, if you are having a specific problem with it or getting errors, open a ticket up at the top of the page, next to the download button, and give up some specifics about what's in your config file (upload it to PasteBin), some of the other plugins you have installed, etc. We'll do our best to duplicate your issue and fix it.

In the current version JailStick was working fine...not too sure what exactly you're having problems with. If you do have any problems or errors, open a ticket.

Posted Dec 9, 2013I was wondering what is the situation with the Jail Stick? Some months ago there was talk about rewriting/redesigning that part of the code.
Is the Jail Stick working 100% now? I'm very interested in this feature. It adds so much to the immersion of the game when you have people running after griefers and in-game criminals with sticks rather than using the all-powerful commands.

Posted Oct 25, 2013I was wondering if someone could please help? I have multiverse and I have an adventure map on one of my worlds (world2). I have my jails in the main world. The adventure map has red stone, iron blocks, and frames with items. I would like to jail people for a short time who break these blocks because they will destroy the map for other players. I would like it so that it automatically jails them without me having to put in the commands. I also use bukkit 1.6.4 and Group Manager as my permissions. Can someone please tell me how I would set something like this up or where I could go to find out? I need to know how to code it and where to put the codes. Thank you.

Posted Oct 22, 2013I had a swearing-protection plugin which jailed people with this plugin, but have since deactivated the other plugin.
I enabled Jail Swear and set up a bunch of words in a list, but it's not jailing anyone. Am I missing something?

Posted Oct 18, 2013Fantastic and great looking plugin, thank you :) it has in a couple of days already made a big difference to my server!
One request, and perhaps it could be done with another mod, but a cooldown per user for /votejail would rock. EG 5 minutes before that player can initiate a vote again.
There probably is a different addon that can do that but seems pointless to add more mods for one task, so I figured to ask :)

What command? And I believe the current one should support Group Manager, as it uses the built in bukkit permissions checking.

- Jail must have 2 or more cells
- /jail player 1+ r:reason
- /jail reload
- disconnect player
- /jail reload
- connect player
he in other cell, old sign have static text, new sign current time (and other info), old chest have his items, new chest is empty.

Posted Oct 11, 2013I dont know but the canbestickjailed command doesn't seem to work, all the people get jailed if you are hit by the item anyway. Does this plugin work with groupmanager.
