Infernal Mobs

Features:
Mobs will randomly become "infernal", then they will become mini bosses. They get a random amount of random powers, a name tag proclaiming them "infernal", and when they die they will drop random enchanted loot. I saw this mod for Forge made by Atomic Stryker, and thought I would make a version for Bukkit. Most aspects of this mod are configurable.
NOTE: For 1.12.2 and older use version: 5.4, build 5.6 and up are 1.13+

Divining Rod:
The divining rod can be used when you are near an infernal mob.
It will take a blaze powder, then point you in the direction of the nearest mob. It will show you a line of particles pointed at the mob.
This rod only works if you are near one of the mobs.

Powers:
- Poisonous: Gives player the poison effect.
- Armoured: Give mobs full diamond armour or a resistance effect.
- Blinding: Gives player the blindness effect.
- Withering: Gives player the withering effect.
- Tosser: Tosses the player around.
- Thief: Steals the item the player is holding.
- Quicksand: Gives player the slowness effect.
- Bullwark: Takes less damage.
- Rust: Damages the tool the player is holding.
- Sapper: Gives player the hunger effect.
- 1up: Has 2 lives.
- Cloaked: Is invisible.
- Ender: Can teleport.
- Ghastly: Shoots fireballs.
- Lifesteal: Gets health from damaging player.
- Sprint: Can go fast.
- Storm: Strikes the player with lightning.
- Webber: Makes a web at the players feet.
- Vengeance: Gives damage from being hit.
- Weakness: Gives player the weakness effect.
- Berserk: Damages the player more, but takes damage from attacking.
- Explode: Explodes on death.
- Potions: Throws harmful potions at the player.
- Mama: Has a slim chance to spawn three babies of its type.
- Molten: Is immune to fire/lava, starts a fire on death and lights the player on fie.
- Archer: Randomly shoots a volley of arrows at player.
- Necromancer: Shoots wither skulls.
- Firework: Fireworks explode from mob when hit.
- Gravity: Levitates the player for a while.
- Flying: Mob can fly.
- Mounted: Riding on another mob.
- Morph: Can infrequently morph into another infernal mob.
- Ghost: On death a ghost is spawned.
- Confusing: Gives player the confusion effect.

To use these commands you need the permission: "infernal_mobs.commands"

Incompatibilities:
There have been instances of incompatibilities with other plugins, any plugin that changes mob names or messes with mob spawning may cause some problems. While they may not be game-braking you may see some weird things and some features might not work.
Known incompatible plugins:
- MobArena v0.96.6
- Any plugin (like MCMMO) that uses score-boards may cause lag when combined with IM (if you have IM score-boards enabled).

Thank you bunches. I was doing a search on the main page for the "spawner" but didn't see the FAQ. My bad.
Also I had the resources world enabled in the config, but when someone died in there their inventory was deleted. It's all okay though, because it gives players a place to gather stuff if they don't want to deal with the infernal mobs too.

To fix the "resources" world, just add it to the enabled worlds list.
For the spawners, just set farming to false in the config, read the FAQ.

Posted Aug 9, 2015That problem is sort of solved. Another question though: Is there any option to disable mobs from spawning via Mob Spawners? Players don't like that their grinders get flooded with InfernalMobs sometimes.

I'll load both up as the only plugins on a server and see what the outcome is. Will edit this post afterwards.
Edit:
So I found that it works in the following worlds: world world_nether world_the_end
But does not work in: resources (a world for gathering resources with an inventory hooked into the "world" world)
I also noticed that when dying from a non-infernal mob in the "resources" world, I kept my inventory. When dying to an infernal mob in the "resources" world, the inventory was deleted.
I think my best bet is just to not have InfernalMobs spawn in the resources world.

Posted Aug 9, 2015We have a problem that I noticed, it might be a plugin conflict. We have a KeepInventory plugin and when a player with that dies, their stuff disappears. I think it might be because whenever a player dies to an infernal mob, they die twice in chat?

Posted Aug 4, 2015Having a strange bug after following the installation guide: http:imgur.com/a/1xrDm
The boss bar just says Wither when near an Infernal Mob and a Wither model seems to attach itself to the cursor. I've attached a couple screenshots for reference in the link above.
Using BossBarAPI v1.0.6 and Infernal Mobs v4.4.1
Any idea what it might be? I've just followed the steps listed under the installation guide.
Edit: I'm a dumbass and was running CraftBukkit, not Spigot. That fixed the BossBar problem.

Suggestion: /im giveloot {playername} {ID (optional, no input = randomized)}
I wanted gift players randomized custom loot for completing certain challenges, but it is currently impossible to do since there is no way to get the loot to them via command.

D'OH I was using the test config. I am an idiot! All fixed now. Not sure how I even got that in my directory, I felt like the config was slightly off, lol.

Posted Jul 25, 2015I am having an issue with charms on the latest version. Players reported charms were working on and off previously, and they just suddenly stopped working with one of the recent versions. I am able to do /im getloot 78 to get a bunny charm, and my loot.yml looks fine, but they don't do anything.
