Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

New Features, Bugs, Problems, etc.
- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.
- If the FAQ doesn't help, don't hesitate to post your question or make a ticket.
- If you do find a bug, please include which version of HyperConomy you're using, the full error message or stack trace (if there is one), the version and type of Minecraft server you're running, and an explanation of how to reproduce the bug or what causes the bug.

You're using the new internal economy plugin. Type /toggleeconomy to switch back to Vault. In the latest dev build I changed the default back to Vault so no one else will have this issue.

Yep, sounds like a good idea. I will add signs to display tax rates. The rates will only be relevant if you're not using dynamic tax, however. For that I could make a maximum tax rate and minimum tax rate sign.

For now you can just make a shop that encompasses the whole world, or much of it. To do this just make a shop and then manually edit the coordinates in shops.yml. This will not cause any lag or performance issues. I will add an option to disable shops shortly. I will let you know when it's working.

Sorry for the slow reply, been sick. It should work. If it doesn't I'll work on a fix. I will be updating the API shortly. Can you try the API in the latest dev build? I've renamed the API to HyperObjectAPI. Hopefully this will be the last significant change to it.

My only guess at the moment is that this is due to your folder "Minecraft Server" having a space in it. I will do some more testing this evening...been sick and haven't had much energy to work on things. If it's practical, could you try removing the space from your server folder?

Just, just a tax rate sign. Because tax rates "can" be dynamic right? Despite the fact I'm not doing it.
Just nice to have it displayed in the same color scheme. I.E.
Static Sales Tax Rate 35%
Maybe that could be a 4 liner with the first line being the shop or the economy they're in.
Right now, the shops I set up have no signs displaying tax rates. I could just simply put in manual signs, but if I were to say /hc disable and change the yml files and change taxes, I would have to change every manual sign in every shop to show the new tax rates.
On the side note, it would be good to not only get value signs, but also "OTD" out the door, price signs. Cause right now, say if tax was 50%, and you buy 1 emerald worth of stuff, you would have to calculate yourself that it'll be at least 1.50 you need to purchase your goods.
I'm displaying value signs on each sign shop right now, but it shows just subtotal less tax. So you will have to calculate tax yourself.
Long story short, tax information is just not available through signs without having to maybe type a line of command.

Posted Jan 17, 2013@RegalOwl I would like to disable the need to be in a shop to use /buy and /sell. How do I go about doing that? I have no interest in using 'shops' but just using the default hypereconomy account which all players sell items and buy items from without the need to create a 'shop' or be in a 'shop'.

No it happens randomly when the server has been running for some time. So far my server has been running for 6 hours and it gave this error again:
It's no longer a rare occurrence it is practically flooding my console now. Before it would pop up here and there but now its consistent.

I am having troubles getting the price of a wither skull for example with the API. Should it be possible or is the API just not setup for that yet?
Thanks =)
