Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Requirements
- None. If you'd like to integrate with an existing economy plugin using Vault, you will need the following: Vault and an economy plugin such as BOSEconomy, iConomy, or Essentials Economy

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.

Add-ons
- HyperMerchant
HyperMerchant is a graphical user interface for your players to use to interact with HyperConomy shops.
It is also includes the ability to easily create Citizens npc shopkeepers for your HyperConomy shops. - HyperConomy Web
HyperConomy Web creates a web page for HyperConomy, displaying information about all shops, items, and price history. The web page appearance can be customized to fit your server.

Posted Jul 27, 2013So I created a display of a single diamond. Now I can't get rid of it. The removedisplay command is not recognizing that there is an item there. I tried deleted display.yml but it recreates itself with the same display item. How do I remedy this?

Posted Jul 25, 2013I am now using the latest build (i thought only old builds could go on new servers, not new builds on old servers!!) and it is a lot less buggy. Just about all of my old problems were gone except for the chestowner update, i had to relog to see it =D. Thanks for all your support and time

These issues may be related to the 1.4.7 server,but I'm not sure. Have you tried the latest build yet? The /setchestowner command should change the name on the sign if its working properly.

Posted Jul 25, 2013I do not understand how works unlimited selling I put carrots as a static item, in the config files put unlimited-stock-for-static-items: true But when I remove from a chest a carrots it is doing -x (x=what I am buying)
any suggestions ?

Posted Jul 24, 2013Well i am able to get the /setchestowner to somewhat function. The console will return "Chest owner updated" however, my name will still appear on the chestshop sign. Is this how it is supposed to be?
Another issue i am having now is item displays fly all over the place now. They used to be stationary no matter what happened but they love to take hikes (ie block breaking/placing can force them to move and a display update functions strangely and when this happens, you can destroy the display and collect the item)
Im also able to crash my server with the item displays doin this.
Ive tried a couple different versions (.964 atm) and this is the furthest ive gone with it. If this is just the case for a 1.4.7 server then its alright. Plugin's been great and the support has been awesome as well.

What makes you want to stay on .961? .961 should, in theory, be one of the buggiest of all the recent builds. .958 should be more stable since it was just before the SQLite update.
I believe the /setchestowner command was added in .961. Just look at the chest shop and use /setchestowner HyperConomy to make it a global chest shop. You can also set the account to any that you like.
You can set the price for all items in a chest shop by placing the price on line1 such as [currency symbol][price]. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, however. Chest shops don't currently affect the global price of items. Using multiple economies with each shop in a different economy would allow differently priced items at different locations as well as dynamic pricing.
The empty hand bug is fixed in one of the newer builds. The other issue I don't remember, but I'm guessing it will also be fixed by updating to the latest build. Let me know if it isn't. The latest build should be stable.

Yep, it should work with all Vault compatible economy plugins.
I've heard there is an issue with item displays and mcpc-plus. I haven't had a chance to test/fix it yet. Last time I tried it there was also an issue with signs not updating client-side, but that may be fixed now.

Posted Jul 24, 2013I hope what im about to ask hasn't been asked already, i'd look but my connection is giving me hell and has taken forever to post this. Im on hc 0.961 (yus still havent updated and probably wont for a long time)
Can you make a chestshop global? Or change the account it is attached to, to a shop for instance? Id like to be able to do this but do not know if you can nor have i found any documentation on if you are able to. It would just be nice to give my players a visual display of things they can sell to the global shop without having to go look for it. If this is available in my version could you detail how i would go about doing or if you have it documented please point me in that direction?
Id also like to be able to use for specific shops. (ie. lumberman buys item 1, 2, 3, 4) and all of their prices can follow the dynamic or static pricing. Or, if it would be possible, i understand if it isnt but to be able to fill a chest with items with a custom selling price that varies on region etc. Completely removing the need for a global shop and forcing players to do actual hunting for a place the buys/sells at the varied prices for a profit.
Also, when using the transaction signs to sell, it will post the transaction went through and give me the money but it doesnt remove the item(s). So atm it is infinitely doable and usable for infinite money. Different problem with the buy sign, i have to have an empty hand when purchasing otherwise i get charged but do not receive the new items. Even if it is the same item and can still be stacked. If these are just bugs in my version then i spose its what i get for not updating. Ive poured through the configs and seen nothing.

Posted Jul 23, 2013Hey, quick question. Since this uses the Vault API, it is compatible with all Vault-enabled economies, right? I was going to use one of the mentioned plugins, but due to documentation errors, I opted to use Craftconomy 3.
Also, not sure if it matters, but I am using MCPC+ (Bukkit & Forge Mod Loader) which is at 1.5.2

You'd like to know how to set up HyperConomy with MySQL, or how to manipulate HyperConomy's data/settings using MySQL?
To set it up, basically all you have to do is set use-mysql to true in the config.yml file and then put in your password, host, database name, etc. If you're migrating from SQLite to MySQL you can do that with the /copydatabase command.
To manipulate the data with MySQL i'd recommend PHPMyAdmin or some other database manipulation tool. All of the item and enchantments settings are stored in the hyperconomy_objects table and can be directly edited while the server isn't running.

Try build #239. Chest shops and InfoSigns will still abbreviate it to one character due to space constraints, but everywhere else it should display as points. If you'd like a space to display between the price and currency just set the language file to have a double space like this: "CURRENCY: points". I didn't have a whole lot of time to test it, but it seemed to be working alright. Let me know. I'll test it more after I get off work.

Doing well, We bought a website and got it tuned to the server. We might be trying out a new town and economy system, hyperconomy would be one of the biggest parts of it if we use it.
The idea of having shops regenerate stock, or take away stock to a certain level would be cool. It would simulate a moving economy. Or maybe even randomly adjust stock levels by the hour within + or - 5-25%
