HeavySpleef
HeavySpleef - Spleef, Splegg, BowSpleef and more!

Graphics by TheOnlyRealTGS

Spleef is a gamemode in Minecraft where your goal is to knock out players by destroying the ground under them.
If a player touches a deathzone or water/lava he is out of the game. Last man standing wins...
HeavySpleef provides an easy to use plugin to setup your own, professional spleef games.
Just setup a spleef game, based on the tutorials and you're ready to play spleef in a completely automated environment.
Want to use HeavySpleef with Bungeecord? Click here to access our Spigot site for more information!

- Fully automated spleef plugin
- Unlimited spleef arena and floor creation!
- Different floor shapes: cuboid, cylindric and polygonal floors!
- Different spleef gamemodes: Free for all, team games, games with shovels, splegg or bowspleef
- Game flag system: Configure your spleef game with flags and make your arena unique
- Lobby-Walls to show real time game stats to your players
- Built-in spleef statistics! Show statistics of your spleef games (SQLite or MySQL)
- Compare yourself to other players with a rating/system that minds the skill of your opponent.
- Award your users with different prizes such as money, items or even a firework show!
- Spectate games by flying around and tracking players
- Create join/leave/start/spectate/vote signs
- AntiCamping: Campers are now a thing of the past! Make them lose if they are trying to camp!
- Enable a nice sidebar scoreboard to show ingame stats about players
- Add winner-podiums to show off the best spleef players on your server (Requires the LeaderboardExtensions add-on)
- Want to check out more? Then click here!

This plugin collects minimal usage statistics by use of the MCStats service. All statistics submitted do not identify you as the server owner and are kept completely anonymous. If you do not want to participate in this statistic collection and you want to opt-out set opt-out to true in the /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml.
If enabled, the following is sent every 15 minutes:
- Metrics revision version
- Server's GUID
- Players currently online (not max player count)
- Server version string (the same version string you see in /version)
- Current version of HeavySpleef
- Server's OS
- Which add-ons you are using
Plugin Metrics Site: http://mcstats.org/plugin/HeavySpleef

HeavySpleef also allows you to update your plugin with the simple /spleef update command. You may disable this check by setting update -> enable-update-check to "false" in the config.yml. This also blocks everyone from using the /spleef update command.

That is implemented by the autostart flag. Just type /spleef flag <arena> autostart 5. To set the countdown, use /spleef flag <arena> countdown <countamount>.

I use PEX. I had this problem too. However, I fixed mine by adding this permission:
heavyspleef.sign.join (You can also do heavyspleef.sign.*)
WITH heavyspleef.join
It fixed the problem for me. These are the permissions that worked for me. You can try this too:
- heavyspleef.vote - heavyspleef.join.* - heavyspleef.leave - heavyspleef.help.user - heavyspleef.sign.* - heavyspleef.join - heavyspleef.statistic
Maybe getting a permissions plugin will probably help too.

Mhh, I'm looking on it, maybe I used the false player variable...
Also the idea with the haste effect is good :) . I think that I'll going to implement this feature.
EDIT: Found the bug with the wrong locations. Just swapped the player variables >_<
@maviras02
The update will come soon. I worked on some other projects the last week, but I will work on HeavySpleef the next time.
@NexxPlay

Posted Apr 22, 2013This plugin is amazing! Easy to use and has lots of nice features. Thank you for great plugin!
Minor problem: I have a minor problem though. The players aren't getting teleported back to their original locations after the spleef game. For example, player 1 is mining and player 2 is woodcutting. They both join a spleef game with /spleef join <arena>. One of them wins. After the game finishes, either both players are teleported to the woodcutting area (the location where player 2 was) or to the mineshaft (the location where player 1 was). So after the game finishes, both players are teleported to the same exact location instead of to their original locations.
Feature request (Suggestion): A difficulty (block-breaking speed) flag for arenas. When I was testing on my vanilla spleef map (which I don't use because it is quite laggy), I found that adding difficulty would definitely make Spleef more fun. What I mean by difficulty is the block-breaking speed. With haste 150, a player can break wool as fast as a regular spleef plugin. With haste 115 (It's a lower number, but it is actually faster than haste 150) a player can break wool as fast as a diamond shovel with Efficieny V. With haste 50, a player can break wool with a half a tick delay. So what I'm basically saying is, maybe you can somehow make a block-breaking speed (difficulty) flag so that you can choose how fast you want the blocks to break in the arena. On easy, there would be a half a tick delay. On medium (default) it would break as fast as creative mode (which is currently what your plugin has) On hard, players can break like 5-10 blocks in half a tick, simply by holding left-click on the mouse. (as fast as diamond shovel Efficiency V digging up dirt) It would be really awesome if you could add it somehow. It's definitely fine if you can't do it.

Posted Apr 16, 2013Setting the jackpotamount to 0 did not work, but installing an economy plugin did. Now that I can use it, it seems like a really nice plugin.

Install an economy plugin, or do /spleef flag arena1 jackpotamount 0. Btw did you set the config value for selection to 'WorldEdit'? You can only select with WorldEdit if you do that... Otherwise you have to select with the stick.
I'm working on a default-flag system in the config if there are no flags set :)
