A fully featured permissions plugin!

Simple, yet fully customizable
Create Group Hierarchies
Modify permissions for groups or individual players
Display player's chat in any number of configurations with the ability to override group prefixes with a player's own chat format
Deny players a certain permission without removing them from the group that grants them that permission

that's not how permissions work, permissions use "permission nodes" like PlatinumBuild.Select. For a list of permission nodes for bukkit, go here

the node for the gamemode command is bukkit.command.gamemode

In addition to those, plugins should all have a list of permission nodes on their plugin page for you to view

its good but when i add a permission it doesnt work like i made a mod rank and i did /perms ggive mod /gamemode and when i tested it i had the default rank commands

The plan is I'm going to skip some versions for the sake of simplicity and so people can easily recognize the difference. The next version is going to be Version 1.5 and it will fix most, if not all problems and bugs. Version 2.0 is going to be the release after that - which I will add new features - possibly the group inheriting groups feature

In the meantime, delete the config file and reload the plugin to generate it again to see if that fixes it.

Groups currently can't inherit other groups. I might add this in the future (v2.0?), but currently it seems like a waste of time when I have other problems to fix. It's more difficult than you think - because you have to write code to make sure that a group that inherits a group that inherits a group etc, knows that it's part of every one of those groups.

I have not had anyone else have any issues like this - are you sure the players AREN'T op? Because if they are op, the file plugin won't change anything. Make sure you aren't giving them <plugin>.* permissions

I can double check to make sure it's set up correctly for v1.5, but for now you'll just have to wait a while.

When i put permissions to the group Player just /spawn and /money and when i change myself to rank player i can do whatever i want even if im not op... i can do like /sell :\ whats going on !?

Hey I need help! I put the .jar file in the plugins folder and start up my server but the plugin isnt there. I have checked the version of my jar and the version of the plugin and they match. I'm not familiar with linux, so I'm not sure. Linux might be using a character that is a variant of the normal apostraphe
