Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

I have solved this issue. This bug was making me really mad. So then, i started the process of elimination of plugins, because i had reason to believe it was a plugin. So eventually i found the conflicting plugin called GatesPlus. It was the reason blocks in claimed areas were able to be destroyed as well as region post for the PopulationDensity plugin. Hope this helps.

Posted Mar 25, 2014When I claim land, or others claim land. Untrusted people are still able to break blocks. It will say they don`t have permission but they still break.

My comment in this ticket is the best I can come with at the moment. It's not so much the plugin version, but rather the user data files (at least it was for me), and it's not abandoned, but presumably the devs are busy.
This is only pertenent if you're using flat file storage. If so, you can download a backup of all the PlayerData files and use my little program to re-write them. More details on that here. After that, you can re-upload them. I'd recommend also doing that as a test run first to see if it'd work. No promises with that little program.

Posted Mar 24, 2014Updated to b282 from b213 and upon starting up the server everyone once again had negative claim blocks.
Is there some way around this or is it impossible to update without sending everyone negative?
This is now the 3rd of 4th time I've posted this with no answer or help provided. Has the plugin been abandoned?

I had a similar issue before. I detailed my particular issue in ticket #561. Simply put, if you go to the user data folder, open any user and line 4 is blank, and line 5 is true/false, it's the same issue I had.

Posted Mar 24, 2014Hello, Im currently on build 271, after having lots of headaches with negative claim blocks. This issue is still occuring on 271, and i was wanting to move to the bleeding edge, however im now always scared to update GP, as i just wonder what will break next.
Can anyone tell me, if #282 is stable, or if there is a better version i should be at? Also, do you know if the negative claim block issue is still occuring on the latest builds?
Ticket 625 seems to suggest its still not fixed.
Also dispensers not being protected is a pretty big issue!
Thanks in advance

I believe it is in your wrold.yml under world config. Look for the line: WildernessWarningBlockCount

Posted Mar 22, 2014I'm wondering how it works within op's.
Mostly because I'm the owner of the server and I have a claim for my house, and the op's can still build/destroy blocks, but when I /transferclaim to make claims for them I can't build/destroy on their claims, yet they still can on mine.
[EDIT]
Nvm, I found it. I was respecting people's claims, but they weren't. It was all /ignoreclaims
[EDIT]
Goddamn annoying, having Admins messing around on my plot. I wish I could disable their use of /ignoreclaims. Imma need to get a permissions plugin, anyone know a good one?

Posted Mar 22, 2014I've been having an issue recently with subclaims being reset when restarting the server. I've noted a ticket, but no responses, upvoted it anyways. Is there a setting that is doing this or some way to prevent it from happening? Seems to happen on Admin/Player claims alike. Using GP build #282 from the Jenkins build site. Would love to keep using this plugin, but the issues have prompted me to try and write one that works similarly, without the huge issues slowly giving players a bad taste about my server.
