Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

I know, and when I rolled back, all of my claims were messed up, all subclaims deleted, and now boats and minecarts act like the claim tool. As well as having op and permissions, I can't even type any links, or my own username.

Posted Mar 21, 2014Is it possible to have a worldguard flag that disable the possibility to claim land within that region?
I usually just make admin claims on top of the WG region, but I would prefer if it was a easier way of doing it.

I cant, it's not backwards compatible! The support is the worst thing, Ive asked/reported 5 problems and not had one response. This is a game-breaker that the plugin is just not listening to what Iv'e setup in the config.

Posted Mar 19, 2014Still havent had any of my 5 questions answered or any of my tickets, But I keep finding bugs in this GriefPrevention, the latest is game-breaking.
You can use a dispencer to put anything you want into a claim, Lava, water anything, These are set to DENY and RequireBuild for claims, Look. http://pastebin.com/yLRPSzxw Use CTRL+F and search for Dispensers section right at the bottom of the config. This is a MAJOR bug. Im going to need a fix asap.

Posted Mar 19, 2014Will we get GP 7.7 legacy updates?
No offense, but 7.8 sucks and I would rather use Residence if I wanted full control in the first place.

Posted Mar 19, 2014Your documentation is misleading.
Do I use the permissions on the current front page or on http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/grief-prevention/pages/7-8-and-later-grief-prevention-configuration/ ?
Specifically, griefprevention.deleteclaims vs griefprevention.claims.delete and are these for the admin command or for abandon claims?

Posted Mar 18, 2014Can some one please tell me if there's a way to disable horse protection at all. Im willing to edit files or just see if there's a way to add a setting or permission to it. I know horses were added to the creature list so is there a way to remove it?

Posted Mar 17, 2014What steps will produce the problem: A sieges B. C who did not initiate the siege then tries to open B's chest.
What I expect should happen: If C is not on trustlist of B OR A, C should not be able to access chest contents.
What does happen: C can open B's chests regardless.
It appears any third party can open chests and doors of the sieged party. Not the parties involved, but anyone else can open the chests.
ALSO
Logging out during siege will NOT punish user as specified in the config. Nor during PVP log out. Instead, these users are rewarded with the items that fell on the ground, AND the items that were not properly cleared during the punishment.

Is there some way around this or is it impossible to update without sending everyone negative?

Posted Mar 14, 2014I have a major problem, When Using the Cannons Plugin http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/cannons/
The cannons can partly destroy claimed builds, Its odd, griefprevention is kind of working, but not fully, an identical unclaimed build would be destroyed in one shot, a claimed build getting shot into takes 4 shots to take out a few blocks, but it shouldn't at all, here is my griefprevention config, Ive gone over every explosion and block breaking config and I cant figure out how its still causing some damage to claims. http://pastebin.com/eFpK2001

Posted Mar 12, 2014Hey guys. I'm loosing my mind here with giving staff access to adminclaims etc.
I'm using the groupmanager from essentials and when I give users access to /adminclaims or /naturerestore it does not work. I tried to add it in globalgroups, groups and lastly to users directly but it never works. If I op the admin in question it will work as op has access to everything so I know the plugin is working. It's just that the permissions wont work.
I have 28 other plugins and permissions work there. Anyone?

Posted Mar 12, 2014If I could do polygon selection, I would be so happy. The same way we trigger /adminclaims before placing a claim, we could trigger /polyclaim.
Honestly, just tying it into WorldEdit would be fantastic. All we would need is a /create claim command or something along those lines.
