Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Jul 1, 2014A couples ideas. Can you make a command so we can give access/container trusts to the public? instead of trusting a single player, the command could allow access/container to the public. Can you add enchantment tables to the container trust permissions? It stinks that we have to fully trust a player in order to use an enchantment table. If there was a public access/container trust command. These two ideas together would be awesome. we could make public enchantment tables.

You should be able to set how many blocks are placed before they get the notification. You can set it to a really high number like 500 if you want inside the config. As I've been away from development for a while I don't know exactly where that option is at at the moment, but I know it's there.

Posted Jun 28, 2014I may have overlooked something, but is there a way to allow players to place a chest in a claim and have permission to access only that particular chest? Or will I have to unclaim an area and then reclaim around an allowed area? I am hoping to allow people to place chests for package pickups in the post office I have.

Posted Jun 27, 2014Hey, I was wondering how I can just disable all PvP related features of GriefPrevention. I'm asking this, because we don't want the combat rules of "You have engaged in PVP combat! fight or run away, but if you log out while in combat you will lose your inventory", and the like, so I want to disable it, and all related PvP things with this plugin. :o

Is there anyway to disable players from claiming inside regions?
We use worldguard for our regions and theres been a constant problem with players claiming important areas within spawns region.
Any suggestions? Thank you for your time :D
Just found this section:

Posted Jun 26, 2014Is there some way of disabling certain notifications? Our players are complaining that when they are building outside of their claims, their chat is getting spammed with the "Other players can destroy your work, consider claiming it with a golden shovel". I tried it out, it spams the message every 15 blocks you place (give or take), so when they are building something and dont have enough claim allowance to protect the whole thing, they constantly get spammed with that message.
I tried just taking that message out of the messages.yml file, but on reboot, it added it back automatically. I also tried taking the text out and just leaving it as the following with no message, but that regenerates the message also.
BuildingOutsideClaim: Text:
This is obviously creating an annoyance for our players, and they are telling me they would rather leave their build completely unprotected instead of trying to build with a portion protected.

There is actually a non-programming way you can help! I have been absent in the development for several months due to work, etc. while BC_Programming was working on it. While brilliant on the coding side sometimes defaults weren't always set to what server owners expect. If you could go through 7.8 and create a sane, default config for worlds (noting which ones were changed from default) I will go through and start implementing those changes for the next dev build.
