Grief Prevention
AUTOMATICALLY PREVENTS ALL FORMS OF GRIEF, including build/break, theft, spam, fire, spawn camping, lava dumping, chat trolling, advertising and more, so you don't have to undo any damage after the fact. It even teaches players how to use it so you don't have to! No configuration or database required. Stop responding to grief and prevent it instead. Grief Prevention will solve your grief problems without requiring you to manage a roster of trained administrators, juggle 10 different anti-grief plugins, take away cool standard game features, publish a training manual / tutorial for players, or add explanatory signs to your world. You can also choose to integrate PvP elements into build design to finally get a PvP experience befitting a sandbox game about creative building.
Grief Prevention stops grief before it starts automatically without any effort from administrators, and with very little (self service) effort from players. Solve all your grief problems with a single download, no database, and no configuration step.

Please Vote for Grief Prevention
I've also posted Grief Prevention on the Spigot site, where plugins are ranked based on reviews. If you love GP, please take a couple of minutes to give GP your rating and leave a short review. Better rating and positive reviews will help server owners who look for plugins on the Spigot site make the safe choice (GP) instead of downloading something sketchy or incomplete. :) Thanks so much for all your support!

Posted Feb 9, 2014Any idea what could cause that? http://pastebin.com/aYfCUELX I know it is not GP, I have a major server issue where multiple plugins and even bukkit/spigot themselves show up, so I am trying to find the cause...

Posted Feb 6, 2014The ProtectPlayerInLandClaims for each world variables reset to false after every reload on my server. I am not the only person to experience this problem (as can be seen on one of the pages for this plugin). The rest of the file remains the same, but those values are reset.

Posted Feb 6, 20141. Is it possible to disable throwing Ender Pearls into other peoples claims? I've enabled the access trust requirement for Pearls, but this only affects people who are throwing from inside a claim, whereas you can be outside someone's claim (high-walled castle for example) and simply throw yourself in without access...
2. Is it possible to edit people's number of claim blocks using their data file as opposed to a command when they're online? One of my players has bugged into negative claim blocks but due to the time zones I'm unable to use a command to restore him back to positive.
Thanks

Ok, well it may irrelevent (at least to me) if the ClaimDeleteEvent is indeed working for subdivisions. I'll just get rid of the data. I was getting an NPE but I think it's my plugin's fault, so I just need time to track it down.

Posted Feb 6, 2014Build #269 should drop soon. It sort of reworks now subclaims are handled, so be sure your data is backed up. It worked for my small test server with a handful or two of claims, but there are most likely oversights in the changes I made that could result in lost data. (the MySQL data store appeared to work as intended)

use /softmute again.
Re Subclaims again: I changed it to use standard claim IDs and increment them as necessary. It doesn't seem to prevent anything from working. I think it might have been a early tweak for performance, so the plugin only had to look through top level claims, which is unnecessary now because of the chunk map. I'll keep testing with that change enabled to see if anything goes wrong.
I'll double-check across multiple worlds with the latest build to confirm that it is not reproduced there (And if it is hopefully figure out why).
Alright, made a portal to the end on my local test server and the claims worked fine. I created a few, shut down the server, and I spawned back in the end when I reconnected and all the claims were still present.
@SuperPyroManiac
tbh I'm not keen on soft dependencies. Giving it a quick look it doesn't appear that WorldEdit exposes or fires any Plugin events Before it does it's thing.
VoxelSniper appears to have events, but they don't appear to expose the location in which the change is occurring.

Every time i try to update i get loaded with error.
What is the error? What exactly are you doing to update?
@MKindy
No, they haven't been documented as-of-yet. And yes, this is an issue.
@Smac3223
Currently using 7.8-beta-b213
This could be why. I'll double-check across multiple worlds with the latest build to confirm that it is not reproduced there (And if it is hopefully figure out why).
@Alshain01
Agreed. Subclaim IDs are a hack to allow people to track subclaims.
The best I can think of would be to give all subclaims their own unique claim ID, but I'd be surprised if that didn't cause problems- and I imagine it was avoided originally for a good reason.

Posted Feb 5, 2014Hey guys, a while back some GP users here were having trouble with the Horse protections in GP, while this isn't a Grief Prevention extension per-se, I've started a new pet management project that should compliment it nicely called PetStore. Just wanted to let you guys know if your having that issue still.

Posted Feb 4, 2014Once again...is there any reason claims would not work in The End? Perhaps something to do with sea level or the naming of something correctly?
We can make claims in The End but whenever the server restarts they simply vanish. Oddly enough we're given our claim blocks back as well. I've tried deleting the World Config for The End and letting it regenerate but no luck. Even tried simply copying over my World Config to, "The End World Config" and still nothing. I've noticed that when I restarted the server while in The End, upon start-up and logging on I was back in the over-world.
Currently using 7.8-beta-b213.
