Give Anything Listener
Introduction
| This is a plugin that works with Votifier 1.8 or higher, and as such should be placed inside the plugins folder NOT the listeners one. | |
| This plugin listens to voting events passed from Votifier and allows you to reward players with anything when they vote for your server. | |
| If you can type it as a command you can use it to in this plugin! | |
| The Plugin works like a lot of the other listeners, but gives the user a detailed Configuration, on how to setup the broadcast message, and the colour / control codes they can use, Like {BOLD} etc... | |
| This Plugin REQUIRES Votifier 1.8 or above! | |
| When installing you must place the GAListener.jar into your /plugins folder. | |
| It will then create a config.yml inside of the folder which you can edit to your liking! |
Configuration
Configuration information (Including Lucky Voters can be found) Configuration Page!

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
You can disable the stat collection via /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml if you wish.

Posted Aug 19, 2013I voted for my site and a vote has entered the que, but it never comes through into the game? do I need to add a listener into the votifier listeners folder or something because it is not registering votes for anyone!
I have installed the latest version of votifier and GAListener and here is my queued.yml contents:
queuedvotes: - '&aoggyman123:&6has'
Is this how it is supposed to be? Nothing is happening to give rewards.

your config looks like the default config so maybe reset the config and regain a new or it could be a problem with your votifier port not working and once you get all that working sure i can tell you how to do lucky votes.
edit: your config is fine for me when i use it try and set up votifier correctly like maybe use a different port like don't use 8192 cause if you are hosting on a server company there is most likely a chance that port is already taken.

Posted Aug 17, 2013@TWSSYesterday I see, it does work. the queued.yml is only used if the server stops meaning the votes are stored in the memory. I always tried it and looked in the queued.yml...so I never thought that they were stored in the memory. Thanks though.

Posted Aug 17, 2013I'm not sure if it's just me but offline voting isn't working for me, could someone explain to me how to use it and what exactly it does? Maybe I'm expecting something than what it actually does.

Posted Aug 14, 2013Could you please add random-prizes?
for-example:
random:<br> '1' id: 46 min: 8 max: 12 '2' id: 52 min:1 max:1 and so on...
Could you also add random money and xp rewards? for example:
min-money: 50 max-money: 500
min-xp: 200 max-xp: 1200
And finally we need to broadcast what the player recieved! for-example:
message: {player} has voted for us and recieved {random}, {money} and {xp}! extra-commands: msg {player} thanks for voting!
Reminder for players when they can vote again by /msg {player}; would also be nice!
Thanks!

This plugin is the absolute best choice for all vote listeners. It does nearly everything anyone can possibly need. And it is actually maintained (used this for 6 months) unlike most other plugins which is quite annoying.
The only two features missing I would like added is one, a way to remind players who haven't voted yet to vote. Like, it checks if a player has voted with the past 24 hours on given sites, and if they haven't, they get reminded at a specific time interval.
- Players who haven't voted for more than 24 hours or at all, are reminded individually - Config the time interval and the message sent. The second thing is, in addition to the LuckyVotes, a feature that allows the plugin to reward players after voting a certain amount of times. So if the player has voted 100 times, they could get bonus items or a bonus rank or whatever the Owner/Admin wants it to give.
- Set the different amount of votes needed and what commands to run when the number is reached. - 10 votes
