Standard Installation and Basic Test

Just drop the FoundDiamonds.jar in your plugins folder and reload!

If you're an OP, continue to the next step. If not, give yourself the permission fd.* (You'll give normal players fd.broadcast for broadcasts, and fd.monitor for admin messages and light level monitoring.)

The best way to test the plugin and verify that it's working is to find some natural iron or coal and break it! You should see a message.

>Note: FoundDiamonds does not announce blocks that a player has placed (Unless an OP or a player with the fd.* permission uses /fd clearplaced after placing the block) Note: Only Players with fd.broadcast can see the broadcasts (this plugin requires permissions)

Note: Traps may or may not work in this version. Not sure what direction to go with these yet.
Updated outdated licenses and renamed packages
Fixed a bug with the clearplaced command not working for flat file setups
Fixed odd things in the config
Fixed a bug where it was impossible to give out one random item
Fixed a bug where the random item is also given to the person who mined the diamonds...
Added random potions to the config so you can now select which potions to give out (even bad ones maybe!)
Removed potion messages for now and replaced with something far simpler
Added more default potions (night vision is cool!)

Troubleshooting

Is the ore you broke a block that was placed by you or someone else. Do /fd clearplaced?
Is the world you're breaking ores in listed in /fd world list?
Are you using the latest version of FoundDiamonds? /fd version
Are you using the CB build this was built against?
Are you breaking ore in creative mode with creative mode disabled in the config?
Did you make changes to the config and forget to do /fd reload?

If none of the above helped you, it's likely that you have found a bug. Please report the bug along with your config.yml and any errors in the console you may be receiving so I can look into it.

When someone finds a diamond ore this message is apperaring: "Everyone else got 0 (stuff)"

Why is it saying "0"??

I followed the example in the wiki to set up the monitored blocks for light levels.

The light level portion of my config file looks like this: (same as the wiki) http://pastebin.com/mqSQWcq2

When I launch the server this error comes up. http://pastebin.com/sRVXYvys going back to a default config everything is fine.

The follow commands say unrecognized command when I try to use them

fd light

fd light add iron ore

Also I can't get my disable ore minig at certain light levels to work.

Here is the config file that is created.

EDIT: Ok it tells the OP's that someone found a ore(s) but how do I make it show the whole server that someone found JUST diamonds? Thank you!

Hello, I am using FoundDiamonds 3.3.1 on Craftbukkit R3. I have not used FD before, but on my server I managed to set traps and other stuff ect, but the only reason I got this plugin is to announcer the whole server when someone has found diamonds but this not do that D: I will like me Config at the bottom. Also everyone has fd.broadcast perm. I am not getting any errors in the Console HERE IS MY FD CONFIG

ofcourse as owner i have permission ' * ' so i have everything possible in the server. but now the all permissions fucked me over the hardest way... i can't see if someone finds 1000 diamonds under 1min

OP's on my server can't see broadcasts.. They have fd.* I have the permissions correct - and as far as I know the configuration is correct. Players on the server can see the broadcasts - it's only OPs that cannot. I did /fd toggle debug and it's just reloaded the configuration file. Please help?

can u please add mysql support for logging diamond finds? foundbox has it, but its going to be inactive i want sql so admins can also see the findings list

Have you given groups the 'fd.broadcast' permission?

If so, try /fd toggle debug, then check the console.
