Posted May 3, 2013UPDATE: Next update will also come with 1.5.2 build for testing using latest Bukkit 1.5.2 beta build available.
Sorry for delay, ice hockey world championships started today, had to watch opening match for Finland :P Anyhow, here is what have been done so far (also check to-do list for up to date info):
1) You can now disable region automatic creation when using WorldGuard support.
2) Plugin no longer allows to setup faction capture point region with same name as existing region.
3) Updated faction rename/disband changes for ormal (without worldguard support) version.
4) Fix for "/fcapture delete" command when using WorldGuard-Support. Bug was related to if there is no region attached to capture point plugin tried to remove unknown region.

I can look into that, but should be bit lower on priority list. Another option would be to disable claiming for X seconds if previous sign attempt failed, ro something.

Posted May 1, 2013@alexk252 These updates comes in baby steps, first new features are very basic as I need to setup "base features" from where I can start building more complex setups. Now that region creation and interaction with FCP is done, I can start looking into making that exprience better. Think that first version of this plugin was only one sign and XP reward to one player, top of that all features has been added update after update :P
Claim land feature in FCP means that you "claim" sign for benefit and as optional feature gives you and your faction permission to place/break defined (from config.yml) blocks inside that region/land.
About regions, I will include option in config to disable region creation at next update, FCP doesnt really care how you setup region, upon interacting with sign (claiming, removing) plugin checks in which region sign is and does what its suppose to do, most often its removing region. So you can indeed setup region however you want after 0.0.9.6 update. Automatic region creation was aimed for less exprience server admins, to take away that extra hassle to manually create regions and of course was first shot at including WorldGuard support.
I still worry too much about accidently removing or messing up Factions data, such as claimed land. I promise to look into this at each update, but I must be 100% sure that my plugin does not crap any faction servers before I allow claiming land for faction.

Good work! I am impressed! Though, I am confuzed as to how to set this up. I thought you were making it so that you could,
A) Create a World Guard region, however large you want it by using the WE points selector. B) Once you've create your region in World Guard using /region define <name>, you could assign that region to a capture point. C) When the point is claimed, all of the land inside your World Guard region gets claimed for your faction, and the message:
"<factiontakingsign> has claimed <WGregionname> from the <currentholdersofthepoint>!"
Example:
I use World Edit to select two points, which inside is my town HooverDam, and then define it as a World Guard region, using /region define HooverDam. In the center of HooverDam is the faction claim point. I assign the region to the claim point using the command, /fcapture region <name>. Then, I set Claim-Land:True. Once that is done, when a faction claims the point: HooverDam, all the land inside of the defined World Guard region turns into their faction land, and this message appears:
"NCR has claimed HooverDam from the Legion!"
Please let me know where I am going wrong. As I am really confused at the moment. If this plugin could be set up to do what I said above, that would be spectacular. Let me know. =)
Oh also a bug, the message and settings for the minimal players online didn't generate at first, and I had to manually add them into the config.yml and messages.yml.

Not included in WG support at this moment, however, just 30 seconds ago (plus time it takes to write this :P) I managed to include land claiming feature for WG and its coming today (in update 0.0.9.6).
Its simple: If region has "member" with faction name on it (automatic added upon claiming sign) players can break/build defined blocks, otherwise all place/remove attempts are canceled. This however regions to have "build: allow" (which is also done automatic by FCP plugin after update). Hopefully this suits your needs, best I come up for now without messing with Factions plugin itself.

How to setup region name (only if WG support is enabled):
1: first use sign command like /fcapture xp or /fcapture 400 500 etc.
2: then use /fcapture region <name>
3: finally click sign to create capture point.
Sorry for shitty details, but quite sleepy as it is 5 hours midnight at here :/ I will reply to all questions/bug reports/suggestions once Im awake :P

Posted Apr 30, 2013While doing smaller fixes I took another stab at captures point changes upon faction disband / rename events, so far things looking quite good and managed to remove all capture points from faction after disband.
Tho no promises, but it seems I might be able to include into today update long waited
- Change sign owner faction if faction is renamed.
- Remove signs from faction if faction is disbanded.
