The Moon in FastSurvival 3.22 combines low gravity, lunar terrain and exploration. This release requires Paper 26.2 and Java 25. Read the in-game Moon Portal Guide through /recipes before building a survival portal. Players with fastsurvival.dimensions can use /moon in Creative or Spectator mode.

Build your way there

A portal needs at least 8 iron blocks, 4 iron bars, 2 wooden buttons and a stone activation button. The current energy threshold is 730 + 210 per player. Geometry, counted parts and energy all matter; a decorative button alone is not a usable portal. Use the in-game status and diagnostic guide to inspect the actual portal, rather than copying a historical screenshot's score.

The guide describes a survey area extending 5 blocks horizontally and 6 vertically from the stone button. A sign within the survey area can be linked by sneaking and right-clicking it. Glass, furnaces and glowstone can travel with a portal but do not supply energy; glowstone is not charged fuel. Read the displayed status before attempting travel.

On the surface

Low gravity lets you jump higher and softens falls. The Moon has craters, acid lakes, copper and diamond to mine, and faster lunar mobs in glass helmets. It stays at new-moon midnight without weather. Fire, torches and campfires will not burn; beds explode. Watch where you step: acid goo can draw more zombies towards you.

The release enables new Moon flags, craters, rockets, magic trees, missile silos, a large escape complex and Mega Thrusters in newly explored chunks, along with the existing road, ring and power-grid infrastructure. See the Moon in the actual 3.22 client capture.

Bringing an older Moon forward

Stop the server and back up all worlds and plugin data together before upgrading. New Moon terrain, infrastructure and structures appear only in unexplored chunks. Existing areas stay as they were, so the boundary between old and new terrain may be visible. Existing config files retain saved structure settings.
